Michelle Cesan (born March 18, 1991, Harding Township, New Jersey) is an American field hockey player. [1] At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed for the United States women's national field hockey team in the women's event. [2] She attended Princeton University and was named an NFHCA All-American for two seasons. [1]
Catherine Michelle Granato is an American former ice hockey player and one of the first women to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in November 2010. She currently works as an assistant general manager for the Vancouver Canucks organization. Granato was the captain of the U.S. women's hockey team that won a gold medal in the 1998 Winter Olympics. She is the younger sister of former NHL player Tony Granato and former Buffalo Sabres head coach Don Granato, and a graduate of Providence College. Granato played hockey for Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
The United States women's national field hockey team, represents the United States in international field hockey. The team is currently coached by David Passmore. It made its first international appearance in 1920 when a touring team visited England, coached by Constance M.K. Applebee. The team made several international appearances in the early 20th century, leading to the United States hosting the eighth International Federation of Women's Hockey Associations Tournament in 1963. Once the IFWHA merged with its counterpart on the men's side, the United States' first appearance at an FIH-sanctioned tournament was the 1983 Women's Hockey World Cup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where the Americans ended up in sixth place. They have won bronze at the Los Angeles 1984 Summer Olympics and bronze at the 1994 World Cup.

Caroline Nelson-Nichols is an American field hockey player. She is a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team for Women’s Field Hockey and the 2012 US Olympic team. Before serving as the interim head coach of the US Women's National Team from January 2020 to June 2020, Nichols was the head coach of Columbia Field Hockey between 2015 and 2019. Nichols now is a performance coach on the staff of Saint Joseph's University's field hockey team.

The United States of America (USA), represented by the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, from July 27 to August 12, 2012. At the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics, she competed for the United States women's national field hockey team in the women's event. She was also part of the US teams that won gold at the 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games. She retired from the US team in 2016.

Jaclyn Briggs is an American field hockey player. She was born in Reading, PA and graduated from Conrad Weiser High School in 2006. She went on to attend the University of North Carolina where she helped lead the team to two NCAA national championships. Briggs studied studio art with a concentration in painting at UNC. Briggs joined the U.S. National team in 2010. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed for the United States women's national field hockey team in the women's event. Briggs helped Team USA defeat Argentina to win its first Pan American gold medal and earn a berth in the 2012 Olympics in London. Briggs was a member of the gold medal Champions Challenge squad and a part of the U.S. squad that stunned the world with a fourth place finish at the 2014 Rabobank Hockey World Cup. Briggs recently competed in the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics. Briggs is currently the assistant field hockey coach at Wake Forest University.

Manley played at full forward vs St Fursey’s Headford. She followed up with the winning goal in the All Ireland junior final vs Naomh Abán.
Jessica Javelet is an American rugby union player. She attended the University of Louisville from 2003 to 2007, where she played field hockey. She led the nation in scoring her junior season (2005), and she finished her career as a three-time All-American and the school record-holder for both points and goals. She was also a three-time academic All-American, a finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award, and the valedictorian of her 2007 class, having graduated with a 4.0 GPA in marketing. She is a former field hockey player and played for the United States women's team from 2006 to 2009.

Field hockey in the United States is a sport which has only limited popular support. In the US the sport used to be female dominated as opposed to Europe's male dominant leagues. However, in the United States of America, there are few field hockey clubs, most play taking place between high school or college sides, almost entirely of females. The strength of college field hockey reflects the impact of Title IX which mandated that colleges should fund men's and women's sports programmes comparably. Pennsylvania is a hotbed for field hockey in the United States.
