Michelle Hendry (born March 19, 1970, in Terrace, British Columbia) is a Canadian former basketball player who competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics. [1]

Joan Hendry was a member of the Canadian 1968 Olympic and 1970 Commonwealth Games team. She also qualified for the 1972 Olympics but could not compete as she was injured. She won two Commonwealth Games bronze medals in long jump and the 4x100 relay and was the only member of Canadian team to win two medals. She was the Canadian long jump champion in 1968, and the silver medallist in 1964, 1967 and 1969, and the bronze medallist in 1966. Hendry was born in Glasgow, Scotland.

Michelle A. MacPherson, also known by her married name Michelle Hojnacki, is a former backstroke and butterfly swimmer from Canada. After being selected for the Canadian Olympic swim team for the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, MacPherson was unable to participate because of the United States-led boycott of the Moscow Olympics. Four years later, she represented Canada at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. There McPherson won a bronze medal in the women's 4×100-metre medley relay, alongside Canadian teammates Anne Ottenbrite, Reema Abdo and Pamela Rai.

Michelle Kelly is a Canadian former skeleton racer who competed from 1994 to 2013. A two-time Olympian, Kelly is largely considered to be one of the pioneers of the sport of Women's Skeleton. Originally an elite gymnast, she was recruited for her explosive power to the Canadian Women's National Bobsleigh Team as a brakeman, competing from 1994 to 1999. In 1995 Kelly started sliding Skeleton and competing in both sports. When Women's Skeleton and Bobsled were both named to make their debut at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Kelly chose Skeleton. She finished 10th at those 2002 Games, and went on to earn the Olympic alternate position at the 2006 Torino Olympics, and another Olympic birth at the 2010 Winter Olympics, finishing 13th. Kelly won a complete set of medals at the FIBT World Championships with a gold in 2003, a silver in 2008, and a bronze in 2005, as well as taking the women's Skeleton World Cup overall title in 2002-3.

In 1969–1974 Plachý won four medals at European championships, indoors and outdoors. Michelle Bonae Finn-Burrell is an American former sprint athlete from Orlando, Florida. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School in Orlando. She set the Florida State University record for the 100 meters which has lasted over 18 years into the 2006 season. She won a gold medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics as part of the 4 × 100 meters relay team (heats). She also reached the final of the 200 meters at the same event, finishing in seventh place. In 1993 Finn was a 100 and 200 m semi-finalist at the World Championships and took the bronze medal at the US national championships for the 200 m.

Kelsie Hendry is a Canadian pole vaulter. Hendry set a historic milestone as the first-ever female athlete from Saskatoon to represent Canada at the Olympics. She also shared her three-way triumph with teammate Carly Dockendorf, and England's Kate Dennison for the bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India.
