Middelkoop is a town in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden, and lies about 11 km south of IJsselstein.

Vijfheerenlanden Municipality in Utrecht, Netherlands

Vijfheerenlanden, literally "land with five Lords" is a municipality in the province of Utrecht in the Netherlands. The municipality was created on January 1, 2019 through the merger of the former municipalities of Vianen (Utrecht), Leerdam and Zederik.

The statistical area "Middelkoop", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 400. [1]
