Mika Sakari Nieminen (born 1 January 1966, in Tampere, Finland) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga. He played for Ilves, Jokerit and HIFK. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 2005.

Contents

During the 1994-1995 season, when playing for Luleå HF, he became the top scorer during both the regular Elitserien season and the Swedish national championship play-offs. [1] He never won championships at club level, but he did win the 1995 World Championship with Finland.

Mika Juhani Koivuniemi is a Finnish bowling coach and semi-retired professional ten-pin bowler. He competed on the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) tour in the United States, and won bowling titles in 21 different countries during his career. He is a two-time PBA Player of the Year, one of only three players born outside the USA to win that award. Koivuniemi is the second international player and first European ever elected to the PBA Hall of Fame; he was inducted in 2019. He is also a member of the World Bowling Writers Hall of Fame and Finland Bowling Hall of Fame.

Mika Zibanejad is a Swedish professional ice hockey centre and alternate captain for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He served as general secretary of the 2012 and 2013 Ice Hockey World Championships co-hosted in Finland and Sweden. He also coached junior ice hockey for Ilves, managed the Ilves Naiset who won three Naisten SM-sarja championships, was a scout for the New York Rangers, and a sports commentator for hockey broadcasts in Finland.
