Andrus Veerpalu is a retired Estonian cross-country skier. He is Estonia's most successful Winter Olympian, having won the gold medal in men's 15 km classical in 2002 and 2006, and silver in men's 50 km classical in 2002.

Such races occur over homologated, groomed courses designed to support classic (in-track) and freestyle events, where the skiers may employ skate skiing. It also encompasses cross-country ski marathon events, sanctioned by the Worldloppet Ski Federation, and cross-country ski orienteering events, sanctioned by the International Orienteering Federation. She originally took up cycling at the age of twenty as a form of cross-training. She has a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne.

She has won a total of three gold medals at the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships, and won her first podium in the World Cup, finishing second in Rukatunturi, Finland, in November 2020. Besides skiing she has also competed in mountain bike racing and has a bronze medal from the junior cross-country race at the 2019 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.
