Michael P. Dempsey is a former acting Director of National Intelligence,serving from January 20,2017 to March 15,2017. [1] [2]
Previously,Dempsey served as the deputy director of national intelligence and President Obama's primary intelligence briefer from 2014 to 2017. In this role,he led the integration of the US intelligence community's 16 agencies. Dempsey also regularly participated in National Security Council,Principal,and Deputy Committee meetings and presented congressional testimony.
Dempsey is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Formerly CFR's National Intelligence Fellow,Dempsey published 45 articles in more than a dozen publications,including Foreign Affairs,Foreign Policy,Bloomberg,CNN,WIRED,Harvard Business Review,Washington Post,Wall Street Journal,and the New York Times.
Dempsey is currently vice president of government affairs for space,cyber,and intelligence at Northrop Grumman. He is also a non-resident research scholar at Columbia University.

The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) is a senior,cabinet-level United States government official,required by the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 to serve as executive head of the United States Intelligence Community (IC) and to direct and oversee the National Intelligence Program (NIP). Mike McConnell is a former vice admiral in the United States Navy. During his naval career he served as Director of the National Security Agency from 1992 to 1996. His civilian career includes serving as the United States Director of National Intelligence from 20 February 2007 to 27 January 2009 during the Bush administration and also seven days of the Obama administration. James Robert Clapper Jr. is a retired lieutenant general in the United States Air Force and former Director of National Intelligence. Clapper has held several key positions within the United States Intelligence Community. He served as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) from 1992 until 1995. He was the first director of defense intelligence within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and simultaneously the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence. He served as the director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) from September 2001 until June 2006.

Robert Cardillo is a Distinguished Fellow at Georgetown University’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology. Prior to this appointment,he was the sixth Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and was sworn in October 3,2014. He was previously selected by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to serve as the first Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Intelligence Integration in September 2010. Clapper said in a statement that the position would "elevate information sharing and collaboration" between those who collect intelligence and those who analyze it. Cardillo previously served as Deputy Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Prior to that,he served as the Deputy Director for Analysis,DIA,and Director,Analysis and Production,National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
Mary Beth Long is an American foreign policy expert,entrepreneur,and former U.S. Government official. From 2007–2009,Long served as the first woman confirmed by the U.S. Senate as an Assistant Secretary of Defense,and as such,was the first female civilian four-star military equivalent in the history of the Pentagon. She led the International Security Affairs (ISA) office in the Office of the Secretary of Defense responsible for policy for the Middle East,Europe,and Africa. The Boren-McCurdy intelligence reform proposals were two legislative proposals from Senator David Boren and Representative Dave McCurdy in 1992. Both pieces of legislation proposed the creation of a National Intelligence Director. Neither bill passed into law.

He is the former president and chief operating officer of Leidos,chief operating officer of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC),and founder and emeritus chairman of the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation.
Stephen Brent Slick is a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operations officer and United States National Security Council official. He is the inaugural director of the Intelligence Studies Project at the University of Texas at Austin,where he is also a Clinical Professor at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs and the Bobby R. Inman Chair in Intelligence Studies.
Beth Sanner is an American government official,currently serving as the Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Mission Integration. She was appointed to the position in May 2019.
