Mike Lay is an American politician who is the member-elect set to represent the Oklahoma House of Representatives 68th district in November 2024.
Lay was born and raised in Tulsa,graduating from Will Rogers High School. [1] He founded Layco Electric Innovations,an electronics manufacturing company. [2] He is an ordained minister and founding member of Victory Christian Church. [1]
Lay ran for the Oklahoma House of Representatives 68th district to succeed Lonnie Sims. He faced Jonathan Grable in the Republican primary. [2] Lay won the election with about 52% of the vote. [3]
Brian John Bingman is an American politician from the U.S. state of Oklahoma who has served in elected and appointed offices since the 1990s. A member of the Republican Party,he was first elected to the Sapulpa city commission in 1992,before being elected mayor by his fellow commissioners in 1994. He would serve in both of these offices until 2004,when he was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives to represent the 30th district. After one term in the house,Bingman ran for the 12th district of the Oklahoma Senate in 2006 and would hold the seat until term limited in 2016. In 2011,he was elected by Republican senators to serve as the President pro tempore of the Oklahoma Senate,a position he would hold until retirement in 2016.
Joshua Chad Brecheen is an American politician from the U.S. state of Oklahoma who has served as the U.S. representative for Oklahoma's 2nd congressional district since 2023. A member of the Republican Party,he represented the 6th district in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. He is a citizen of the Choctaw Nation.

Kevin Ray Hern is an American businessman and politician from Oklahoma. A Republican,he is a member of the United States House of Representatives for Oklahoma's 1st congressional district. Born in Missouri and raised in Pope County,Arkansas,Hern graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 1986 and briefly attended the Georgia Institute of Technology before returning to Arkansas to work for McDonald's the following year. In 1997 he bought his first McDonald's franchise and in 1999 he earned his MBA degree from the University of Arkansas,Little Rock. After moving to Oklahoma in 1999,Hern expanded his McDonald's franchises,eventually owning 18 franchises in the Tulsa metropolitan area. In 2018,he ran his first campaign for office and was elected to the United States House of Representatives.
Monroe Nichols IV is an American politician and former college football player who has served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from the 72nd district since 2016. He is the first African-American to represent the district. In July 2023,he announced he would not seek re-election to the Oklahoma House in order to run in the 2024 Tulsa mayoral election.
