Esher is a town in Surrey, England, to the east of the River Mole.
The England men’s national rugby union team represents England in men's international rugby union. They compete in the annual Six Nations Championship with France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. England have won the championship on 29 occasions, winning the Grand Slam 14 times and the Triple Crown 26 times, making them the most successful outright winners in the tournament's history. They are currently the only team from the Northern Hemisphere to win the Rugby World Cup, having won the tournament in 2003, and have been runners-up on three further occasions.
Oliver James Smith is a former English rugby union international and domestic head coach, having had a spell with Esher RFC. During his playing career, he played for Harlequin F.C. Rugby Club, Montpellier Hérault Rugby, Leicester Tigers, England and the British & Irish Lions before a knee injury forced him to retire. He was a specialist outside centre but also occasionally played inside centre or wing.
London Scottish Football Club is a rugby union club in England. The club is a member of both the Rugby Football Union and the Scottish Rugby Union. The club is currently playing in the RFU Championship and share the Athletic Ground with Richmond.
Rotherham Rugby Union Football Club, or Rotherham Titans is a professional rugby union team from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, currently playing in the fourth tier of the English rugby union league system, following their relegation from the National League 1 at the end of the 2019–2020 season.
Craig Minto Chalmers is a former Scotland international rugby union player and coach. He represented Scotland, the British Lions and the Barbarians at international level. He made 60 international appearances as a player for the Scotland national team and scored 166 points. He played at fly-half with his playing career beginning at Melrose in the amateur era and with the professional era seeing him play Border Reivers and Glasgow Warriors before moving on to English sides Harlequins, Worcester Warriors and Pertemp Bees. He had coaching roles with Melrose and the Scotland national under-20 rugby union team. He later has had a business career in security.
Haydn Tanner was a Welsh international rugby union player who represented both Wales and the British and Irish Lions. At club level he played for several top-flight teams, including Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea, London Welsh and the Barbarians.
The Streatham-Croydon Rugby Football Club, is a rugby union club, founded in 1871, based at Frant Road, Thornton Heath, in the London Borough of Croydon, south London. Streatham-Croydon currently play in Counties Surrey 4. The club's teams play in cardinal shirts, white shorts and cardinal and white hooped socks.

After two seasons Rotherham dropped the 'Earth' from their name to return to 'Rotherham Titans' as sponsor Earth Mortgages ran into financial difficulties and Complete Technical Services instead became the club's new sponsor.

Andrew John Northey is an English former rugby league and rugby union footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. In rugby league he played for St. Helens in the Super League as a second-row before returning to rugby union in 1997, and joining Northampton Saints.
Cobham Rugby Football Club is an English rugby union club, located in the village of Cobham, Surrey, who play in the London Division of the RFU. Cobham RFC is based at the Old Surbitonians Memorial Ground in Cobham and is affiliated to the English RFU via the Surrey RFU. The club was founded in 1930 by the first leavers of the Surbiton County Grammar. They currently play in London 1 South, following the club's promotion from London 2 South West at the end of the 2015-2016 season.
National One, is the third of three national leagues in the domestic rugby union competition of England. It was known as Courage League National Division Three when founded in 1987. Cambridge are the current champions.
The 2011–12 RFU Championship was the third season of the second tier of the English domestic rugby union competition, played between August 2011 and May 2012. New teams to the division included Leeds Carnegie who were relegated from the Aviva Premiership 2010–11 and London Scottish who were promoted from 2010–11 National League 1. The first stage was won by Bristol and the final by London Welsh who, after an appeal, won promotion to the Aviva Premiership 2012–13. Esher were relegated to the 2012–13 National League 1.
England Counties XV is a representative rugby union team, formed in 2002, open to English players who play in the County Championship and the third tier of the English rugby union system. Players from the Premiership and RFU Championship are ineligible.
Clive James Stuart-Smith is an English rugby union player who plays at scrum-half. Stuart-Smith played club rugby for Gloucester RFC, Leeds Tykes, Worcester Warriors, Exeter Chiefs and Esher RFC in the English leagues as well as representing Welsh region Llanelli Scarlets. Stuart-Smith played age grade rugby for England at under 18, under 19 and under 21 level, as well as representing England Saxons, England's second national rugby union team.
Neil Hallett is a retired English rugby union player who played at either full-back, centre or fly-half Neil is a coach at Wimbledon. An excellent kicker, Hallett is best known for his time at Esher where he scored over 1,300 points for the club in all competitions, and he is also one of the most prolific scorers in tier 3 history with over 1,400 league points scored from his time spent with at four different clubs including Esher and Ealing Trailfinders. As well as playing club rugby Hallett has also captained Surrey and been capped by the Barbarians and England Counties XV.
London South Africa Rugby Football Club was an English rugby union club based initially in Wimbledon, London before moving to Surrey. They were founded in 2005 as a rugby club for South African expatriates in England. They were dissolved in 2014.
