Mike Toop is a retired American football and lacrosse coach. He served as the head football coach at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in King's Point, New York, from 2005 until his retirement in 2021, [1] and at Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, from 2001 to 2004. [2] He also coached men's lacrosse at Union College in Schenectady, New York, from 1985 to 1987 and Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, from 1988 to 1991.[ citation needed ]

The Detroit Mercy Titans are the athletic teams of University of Detroit Mercy. The university is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I. The school primarily competes in the Horizon League, but competes in other conferences for fencing and lacrosse, sports not sponsored for either men or women by the Horizon League. Fencing, a co-ed sport, competes in the Midwest Fencing Conference. Men's lacrosse moved from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference to the ASUN Conference in July 2021. Women's lacrosse joined the Mid-American Conference for that league's first women's lacrosse season in 2021.
Severn School was founded in 1914 by Roland M. Teel in Severna Park, Maryland, as a preparatory school for the United States Naval Academy. In 2013, Severn School merged with nearby Chesapeake Academy. Currently the school enrolls boys and girls from pre-school through grade 12.
Samuel Lee Gash Jr. is an American former professional football player who was a fullback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Thomas "Pepper" Johnson is an American football coach and former linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons, the first seven of which were for the New York Giants. He won two Super Bowls with the Giants before playing for the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions and New York Jets.

Chuck Priore is an American former college football and college lacrosse coach. He was the head coach of the Stony Brook Seawolves for 18 years, from 2006 to 2023. He led Stony Brook to shares of four consecutive Big South Conference titles from 2009 to 2012. Priore coached Stony Brook to its first four FCS playoff appearances. After five consecutive losing seasons, culminating in a program-worst 0–10 winless 2023, Priore was fired. He was 97–101 with the Seawolves.
Mike Waufle is a former American football coach who most recently served as the defensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). Waufle served as defensive line coach for the Oakland Raiders from 1998 to 2003 and coached in Super Bowl XXXVII after the 2002 season. Waufle coached primarily single gap 4 man defensive lines in a 4–3 defense. He was the defensive line coach for the New York Giants from 2004 to 2009, and the defensive lines he coached were a strength of the team. He won Super Bowl XLII in 2007; in that game the defensive line's performance is generally credited with being a decisive factor. The defensive line of the Giants during the Super Bowl sacked Tom Brady 5 times, leaving little time for Patriots receivers to get downfield before defensive linemen reached Brady. Holding the Patriots historically high scoring offense to 14 points the Giants defeated the previous undefeated New England Patriots. He returned to the Raiders in 2010 and 2011. From 2012 to 2016, he was the defensive line coach for the St. Louis / Los Angeles Rams under head coach Jeff Fisher. He coached the Buffalo Bills defensive line in 2017. Buffalo returned to the playoffs after 17 years. Waufle retired after the 2017 season.
The Jacksonville Dolphins are the intercollegiate athletics teams that represent Jacksonville University, located in Jacksonville, Florida. The Dolphins participate in NCAA Division I athletics, and are primarily members of the ASUN Conference. Some teams in sports that are not sponsored by the ASUN play in other conferences; specifically, the men's and women's rowing teams are in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The men's lacrosse team had played in the Southern Conference (SoCon) from 2015 to 2022, but that sport will return to the ASUN for the 2023 season.
Jon Doyle Witman is an American former professional football player. He played college football at Penn State and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fullback for six seasons (1996–2001).
Abraham Barr Snively II was an American football player and coach of lacrosse, football, and ice hockey. He played football for Princeton University from 1921 to 1923 and was captain of the 1923 team. He held coaching positions at Williams College in lacrosse, football and hockey from 1928 to 1948 and at the University of New Hampshire from 1953 to 1964.
The West Chester Golden Rams represent West Chester University of Pennsylvania, which is located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, in intercollegiate sports. They compete in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in NCAA Division II.
Victor Emmanuel Gatto is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Bates College (1973–1977), Tufts University (1978–1984), and Davidson College (1985–1989), compiling a career college football head coaching record of 52–92–4. Gatto played college football as a halfback at Harvard University from 1966 to 1968. He won the Nils V. "Swede" Nelson Award in 1968 and was the team captain in the legendary 1968 Yale vs. Harvard football game game. He appeared in Harvard Beats Yale 29–29, a 2008 documentary film about this game. Prior to being hired at Bates, Gatto coached football, baseball, and lacrosse at the Middlesex School in Concord, Massachusetts.
Steve Szabo is a former American football player and coach. He played football and lacrosse for the United States Naval Academy from 1961 to 1965. After four years of military service, Szabo held coaching positions with 18 collegiate and professional football teams from 1969 to 2011. He served as the head football coach at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania from 1985 to 1987, compiling a record of 15–15–1.

Stephen C. Belichick is an American college football coach who is the defensive coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a position he has held since 2025. He was an assistant coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL) from 2012 to 2023.
William D. McHenry is a former American football and lacrosse player and coach and college athletics administrator. An accomplished athlete at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, McHenry was chosen by the Washington Redskins in the sixth round of the 1954 NFL draft. He also played lacrosse at Washington and Lee. McHenry served as the head coach at Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania from 1961 to 1970 before returning to his alma mater in 1973 where remained for five seasons, compiling a career college football coaching record of 56–70–3. In 1958, McHenry was hired as the head lacrosse coach at Williams College, where he also worked as an assistant football coach. McHenry finished his career in athletics by serving as the athletic director at the College of Wooster from 1991 until his retirement in 1996.

Brian Belichick is an American football coach who is the safeties coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He joined the organization as a scouting assistant in 2016, and worked as a coaching assistant from 2017 to 2019 before being promoted to safeties coach prior to the 2020 season.

The 2001 Davidson Wildcats football team represented Davidson College as a member of the South Division of the Pioneer Football League (PFL) during the 2001 NCAA Division I-AA football season. Led by first-year head coach Mike Toop, the Wildcats compiled an overall record of 5–4 with a mark of 1–2 in conference play, placing third in the PFL's South Division.
