Bristol City Football Club is a professional football club based in Bristol, England. The team compete in the EFL Championship, the second level of the English football league system.
Yeovil Town Football Club is a professional association football club based in the town of Yeovil in Somerset, England. The team compete in the National League, the fifth level of the English football league system, after winning the 2023–24 National League South title. The club's home ground is Huish Park, built in 1990 on the site of an old army camp. That stadium is named after their former home, Huish, known for its pitch, which had an 8 feet (2.4 m) sideline to sideline slope. The club's nickname "the Glovers" is a reference to the history of glove-making in the town of Yeovil, which became a centre of the industry during the 18th and 19th centuries.
The North West Counties Football League is a football league in the North West of England. Since 2019–20, the league has covered the Isle of Man, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cumbria, northern Staffordshire, northern Shropshire, the far west of West Yorkshire, and the High Peak area of Derbyshire. The league is a member of the Joint Liaison Council which administers the Northern arm of the National Football System in England.
