Mane is a vocal supporter of LGBTQ rights in the region. He is known to have spoken in various LGBTQ events aout he importance of sex education in school and discrimination against the LGBTQ community. [6] During his tenure as North Nagpur MLA, he flagged off the first Orange City LGBTQ Pride March in Nagpur in 2016. [7]

Devendra Gangadharrao Fadnavis is an Indian politician who is serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 30 June 2022 alongside Ajit Pawar who was sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the 5th time on 2 July 2023. He also served as the 18th Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 31 October 2014 to 12 November 2019, Leader of the Opposition, Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from 2019 to 2022 and the President of BJP, Maharashtra state unit from 2013 to 2015. Having been sworn in at the age of 44, he is the second-youngest Chief Minister in Maharashtra's history after Sharad Pawar. He served a 5-day long second term as Chief Minister during the 2019 Maharashtra political crisis, before resigning on 28 November 2019. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Fadnavis has represented the Nagpur South West constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly since 2009 and Nagpur West from 1999 to 2009. He was also Mayor of Nagpur from 1997 to 2001.

In 2009 he created a major upset defeating 5 time MLA Satish Chaturvedi of the Indian National Congress. Khopde was a corporator in the Nagpur Municipal Corporation and a standing committee chairman. Khopde is a high school dropout.

Nagpur Central Assembly constituency is one of the 288 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of Maharashtra state, western India. It is one of the six assembly seats which make up Nagpur Lok Sabha seat. The Constituency Number is 55. This constituency is located in the Nagpur district. The delimitation of the constituency happened in 2008. It comprises parts of Nagpur Taluka, and Ward No. 66, 92 to 98, 109 to 119 and 121 to 129. of Nagpur Municipal Corporation.

Vikas Shankarrao Kumbhare is a member of the 12th, 13th and 14th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Nagpur Central Assembly Constituency. Kumbhare was also member of the 12th and 13th Assembly. Kumbhare has been mentioned as one of the more active members during one session of the Legislative Assembly.

Sudhakar Shamrao Deshmukh was a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represented the Nagpur West Assembly Constituency. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Deshmukh was also member of the 12th Assembly (2009–2014). Deshmukh was the president of Indian National Congress's (INC) Nagpur district committee. Deshmukh, then with the Indian National Congress, was member of Maharashtra Legislative Council from 1991 to 1996. He joined the BJP in 2000 and was the president of BJP's Nagpur city unit in 2007. Deshmukh is a commerce graduate from Nagpur University.

Ravindra Dattaram Waikar is a Shiv Sena politician from Maharashtra. He is a member of the 14th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly representing Jogeshwari East Assembly Constituency. He has been elected to Vidhan Sabha for three consecutive terms in 2009, 2014 and 2019. He was appointed Maharashtra's minister of state, Higher & Technical Education in December, 2014. He was given the Housing, Higher & Technical Education portfolio. He was also given responsibility of being guardian minister of Ratnagiri district.

Charan Sovinda Waghmare is a politician who served as a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from 2014 to 2019. He was elected as MLA from the Tumsar-Mohadi Assembly Constituency. And he is very likely known leader in his constituency. He belonged to the local established party Vikas Foundation as chairperson and is belonging to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). In 2012, Waghmare was chairman of finance and works committee of Bhandara Zilla Parishad. In 2014 he was President of Bhandara District BJP.

Nanaji Sitaram Shamkule is a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Chandrapur Assembly Constituency. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In May, 2013 he was appointed President of BJP's Maharashtra state SC Cell. He was Member Legislative Assembly in 2009, also as a BJP member. Shamkule, before he became MLA in 2009, was a corporator in the Nagpur Municipal Corporation, from ward no 114, Takli Sim.

KirtiKumar Mitesh Bhangdiya better known as Bunty Bhangdiya is a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Chimur Assembly Constituency. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was the richest candidate from Vidarbha in the 2014 elections. Bhangdiya was founder and head of "Yuvashakti Sanghatna" a political organisation that held power in the Gadchiroli Zilla Parishad in 2014. In August 2014, Bhangdiya joined the BJP. He was the first BJP candidate to win from Chimur. In 2014 state election he won by margin of 25,155 votes by defeating the Congress candidate. In 2019 he again won from Chimur. He is known to be very close to Devendra Fadnavis. He was amongst the top 10 most working MLAs in Maharashtra.

Anil Sole is elected from Nagpur Graduate Constituency Maharashtra Legislative Council. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) & RSS and was also the president of the Nagpur City of the BJP and a MLC of Maharashtra.

Narendra Mehta is an Indian politician. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He served in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. Mehta represents the Mira Bhayandar constituency.

Orange City LGBT Pride March or Nagpur Pride Parade is the pride march organised annually in Nagpur, Maharashtra. It was started in the year 2016. It is a festival to honour and celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people and their supporters.
