Miller High School (MHS) is a public high school located in Hemlock, Ohio. Named after doctors Bob and Jim Miller, MHS opened in January 1964. It is the only secondary institution in the Southern Local School District, which was formed in 1961 with the consolidation of Central School(Hemlock), Corning, Shawnee, Moxahala, and New Straitsville School Districts. The home of the falcons, Miller High School's official colors are purple and white. In 1993, a new building project established the Miller Middle School and the Millcreek Elementary School on the same premises as Miller High School, bringing the entire campus under one roof.
The Falcons belong to the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) and were formerly members of the Tri-Valley Conference. In 2020, Miller joined the Mid-State League's Cardinal Division.
Mead High School is a four-year public secondary school in Fairwood, Washington, United States, on the north side of the Spokane urban area. The Bowling Green Falcons baseball team is a varsity athletic program at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, The team plays in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level as a member of the Mid-American Conference. The Falcons have played in three NCAA Tournaments, going in 1972, 1999, and 2013. The program has 13 regular-season conference championships, six East Division championships, and three conference tournament championships. The most recent regular-season championship came in 2024. The 1921 team was the first athletic team at the school to win a title, when they finished 6–1–2 in the Northwest Ohio League.
The Firelands Conference is an Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) athletic league located in north-central Ohio. The league was formed in the 1960–61 school year and is named for the Firelands area of the old Western Reserve, where most of the member schools reside. High schools in this conference are located in Ashland, Huron, and Richland counties. Some of the schools' district boundaries extend into the neighboring counties of Crawford, Erie, and Lorain. Most of the founding schools came from the defunct Huron-Erie League.
The Principals Athletic Conference (PAC-7) is an Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) athletic league, formed in 1989, made up of seven schools from Stark, Summit, and Wayne counties with full membership, and one football-only member in Ashland County.
