Alexander High School (AHS) is located in Albany, Athens County, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Alexander Local School District. Alexander is the most well educated school in Southeast Ohio. The K-12 school complex is located just off SR 32 east of Albany. The Alexander Local School District serves students west and south of the city of Athens including residents in Albany, New Marshfield, Shade, and sections of extreme northeast Meigs County. The school mascot is a Spartan. Their school colors are red, black, and white.
The Spartans belong to the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) and the Tri-Valley Conference, a 16-member athletic conference located in southeastern Ohio. The conference is divided into two divisions based on school size. The Ohio Division features the larger schools, including Alexander, and the Hocking Division features the smaller schools.

Oak Hills High School is a four-year public secondary school located in Bridgetown, Ohio, with a mailing address of Cincinnati. Oak Hills often is referred to as "OHHS" by its students and faculty. It is run by the Oak Hills Local School District.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is the governing body of athletic programs for junior and senior high schools in the state of Ohio. The OHSAA governs eligibility of student athletes, resolves disputes, organizes levels of competition by divisional separation of schools according to attendance population, and conducts state championship competitions in all the OHSAA-sanctioned sports.
Lakota West High School is a high school in the Lakota Local School District which comprises both West Chester Township and Liberty Township in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio in the United States. From what once was a unified Lakota High School came both Lakota West and Lakota East. Situated in an exurb of Cincinnati, the two physically identical schools were built in 1997 when the district expanded. The enrollment for Lakota West is currently around 2,000 students for grades 10-12. Some unions from the old single high school still exist, such as the school's radio station, WLHS 89.9 FM, which is staffed by students from both Lakota East and Lakota West.
Stephen T. Badin High School, is a Catholic high school of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati school system, serving grades nine through twelve in Hamilton, Ohio, United States. It is a comprehensive high school which admits students of all levels of ability. Curriculum is offered on four distinct levels. 96% of Badin graduates continue their education. Jonathan Alder High School is an NCA accredited public high school located in Plain City, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Jonathan Alder Local School District. The school, as well as the district, are named after Jonathan Alder, the first white settler in Madison County.
Roy C. Start High School is a public high school in West Toledo, Ohio, United States. The school opened in 1962 and is part of the Toledo Public Schools. It was named after Roy C. Start, two-time mayor of Toledo and founder of the West Toledo YMCA. The school building was demolished and replaced with a new building. Students have been attending the new Start since January 2008. The only part of the original Roy C. Start High School building in use is the auditorium and is attached to the new building.

River Valley High School is a public high school near Bidwell, in the U.S. state of Ohio. It is one of two high schools in the Gallia County Local School District, the other school being South Gallia High School. Their nickname is the Raiders. The school has been rated "Excellent" two years in a row on the state report card making it one of the highest ranked schools within several counties. In August 2009 the current RVHS facility was officially opened, taking the place of the previous RVHS located in nearby Cheshire. The new location places River Valley High School just a short distance from its main feeder school, River Valley Middle School. The 2009–10 school year was the first to take place in the new building, with the Class of 2010 being the first class to graduate, and the Class of 2013 being the first to complete all four years of their secondary education at the new building.

Clay is a rural Ohio public school district serving 700 students in grades pre-K through 12 in Southern Ohio. With the creation of a high school for the district in 1940, students for the first time were able to graduate from a Clay Local School District building.
