Ming Gherardi van Eijken (born 3 April 2008) [1] is a French artistic gymnast. She is the 2023 Junior World Championships bronze medalist on vault and the 2022 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships junior silver medalist on vault.
Van Eijken was born in 2008 in Hong Kong. She began gymnastics when she was three years old in France. [2]
Van Eijken competed at the 2022 City of Jesolo Trophy where she helped France finish sixth as a team. [3] In August she competed at the European Championships where she helped France finish fifth as a team. [4] During event finals van Eijken won silver on vault behind Sabrina Voinea. [5]
In March van Eijken competed at the DTB Pokal Team Challenge where she helped France place fourth as a team. Individually she won gold on vault and placed fifth on floor exercise. [6] Van Eijken was selected to compete at the 2023 Junior World Championships in Antalya, Turkey alongside Lana Pondart and Lilou Viallat; the team finished in eleventh place. [7] Individually van Eijken qualified for the vault final. During the final van Eijken performed two clean vaults and won the bronze medal behind Mia Mainardi and July Marano, earning France its first ever Junior World Championship medal. [8]
Van Eijken was selected to make her senior international debut at the 2024 Trophy of Jesolo where she won gold on vault. In May she competed at the European Championships alongside Marine Boyer, Lorette Charpy, Coline Devillard, and Morgane Osyssek. [9] During event finals she won bronze on vault behind teammate Devillard and Valentina Georgieva of Bulgaria. During the team final van Eijken helped France win the bronze medal behind Italy and Great Britain.
In July van Eijken was officially selected to represent France at the 2024 Summer Olympics alongside Boyer, Mélanie de Jesus dos Santos, Devillard, and Osyssek. [10]

Rebeca Rodrigues de Andrade is a Brazilian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic, 2021 and 2023 World champion on the vault and 2022 World all-around champion. Andrade is the first Brazilian female gymnast to medal at an Olympic Games, and she is only the second Brazilian woman to win a gold medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She is also the 2020 Olympic silver medalist, the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships silver medalist and the 2021 Pan American champion in the all-around, and won silver on the uneven bars at the 2021 World Championships, silver on the floor exercise at the 2023 World Championships, bronze on the balance beam at the 2023 World Championships and a bronze on the floor exercise at the 2022 World Championships. Andrade is one of only 11 female gymnasts to have medalled on every event in the history of World Championships, and one of only three gymnasts to have done so in the 21st century, alongside Simone Biles and Aliya Mustafina.
Marine Clémence Boyer is a French female artistic gymnast. She was a member of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2023 World Championships and was also a part of the 2018 European and 2018 Mediterranean Games silver medal winning teams and the 2016 European bronze medal winning team. Individually she is the 2018 Mediterranean Games gold medalist, the 2016 European silver medalist, the 2018 European bronze medalist and the 2024 European bronze medalist on the balance beam. She represented France at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She is the 2016 French all-around champion and an eight-time medalist at the FIG World Cup series.
Mélanie Johanna de Jesus dos Santos is a French artistic gymnast. She was a member of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2023 World Championships. She is the 2019 European all-around champion, a two time European champion on the floor exercise, and the 2021 European champion on the balance beam. She is also the 2018 European silver medalist with the French team, the 2019 European silver medalist on the balance beam, and the 2017 European bronze medalist in the all-around. She represented France at the 2020 Summer Olympics where she placed sixth with the team and on the uneven bars and eleventh in the all-around. She is the 2017, 2018, and 2019 French all-around champion, and she won the Longines Prize for Elegance in 2019.
Coline Devillard is a French artistic gymnast. Devillard is the 2022 World bronze medalist, the 2017, 2023, 2024 European champion and the 2019 European silver medalist on vault. She is the first and only French female gymnast to win the European title on vault. Additionally she was part of the French teams that won silver at the 2018 European Championships and bronze at the 2023 World Championships.
Maellyse Brassart is a Belgian artistic gymnast. She represented Belgium at the 2020 Summer Olympics and has qualified to compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics. She has competed at five World Championships.
Elisa Iorio is an Italian artistic gymnast and was a member of the team who won the bronze medal at the 2019 World Championships in Stuttgart. Iorio also won gold at the 2018 European Junior Championships where she additionally won bronze on the balance beam. She is a member of the Italian National Team.
Asia D'Amato is an Italian artistic gymnast. She represented Italy at the 2020 Olympic Games. She was a member of the teams that won bronze at the 2019 World Championships and gold at the 2022 European Championships. Individually she is the 2021 World vault silver medalist, the 2022 European all-around champion and vault silver medalist, the 2019 and 2020 Italian national champion, and the 2018 Junior European vault champion. She is a member of the Italian National Team and is the twin sister of Alice D'Amato.
Lorette Charpy is a French artistic gymnast. She was part of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2023 World Championships and the silver medal winning team at the 2018 European Championships. Individually she is the 2019 European Games all-around silver medalist and 2019 European Championships bronze medalist on the balance beam. She won bronze on bars at the 2022 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships
Aline Friess is a French artistic gymnast. She competed with the French teams at the 2019 World Championships, the 2020 Summer Olympics, the 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and the 2022 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships where she won bronze on vault.
Emily Whitehead is an Australian artistic gymnast. At the 2018 Commonwealth Games, she won a bronze medal in the team event and on the vault. She represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics and is a two-time Oceanic all-around champion (2021-22). She is the 2015 Australian junior national all-around champion and a three-time national all-around medalist at the senior level. She won a silver medal on the vault at the 2018 Melbourne World Cup.
Alba Petisco de San Fulgencio is a Spanish artistic gymnast. She represented Spain at the 2020 Olympic Games and the 2018 Youth Olympics where she was part of the Mixed NOC team who won gold in the mixed multi-discipline team competition. She won a bronze medal with the Spanish team at the 2022 Mediterranean Games. Additionally, she is the 2020 and 2022 Spanish all-around champion. She will represent Spain at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Carolann Héduit is a retired French artistic gymnast and a member of the French national gymnastics team. She is the 2018 European junior uneven bars bronze medalist and the 2022 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships beam bronze medalist. She is the 2021 and 2022 French all-around champion and represented France at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Héduit retired on June 2nd 2024.
Laura Bechdejú Coll is a Spanish artistic gymnast. She represented Spain at the 2020 Summer Olympics and at the 2018 World Championships. She is a 2019 European all-around finalist and a four-time medalist at the Spanish Championships.
The 2022 City of Jesolo Trophy was the 13th annual Trofeo di Jesolo gymnastics competition held in Jesolo, Italy. Both senior and junior gymnasts were invited to compete. The previous two iterations of the competition were canceled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Angela Andreoli is an Italian artistic gymnast. She was a member of the gold medal-winning teams at the 2022 Mediterranean Games and the 2022 European Championships. Individually she is the 2022 Mediterranean Games bronze medalist on vault and 2022 European bronze medalist on floor exercise.
Hezly Rivera is an American artistic gymnast. She was a member of the silver medal-winning team at the 2023 Junior World Championships. Additionally she is the 2023 Junior World silver medalist on floor exercise. She was named to the team that will represent the United States at the 2024 Summer Olympics, making her the youngest athlete in the U.S. delegation.
July Marano is an Italian artistic gymnast. She is the 2023 Junior World vault silver medalist and team bronze medalist.
Morgane Osyssek-Reimer is a French artistic gymnast and a member of the French national gymnastics team. She was a member of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2023 World Championships and the silver medal-winning teams at the 2018 and 2022 Mediterranean Games.
Breanna Scott is an Australian artistic gymnast. She was a member of the silver medal-winning team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and will represent Australia at the 2024 Olympic Games.
