Ministry of Health of the Republic of Poland (Polish : Ministerstwo Zdrowia Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej) is one of the Ministries of the Republic of Poland. Its current minister is Izabela Leszczyna.

The seat of the Ministry of Health is the Pac Palace in Warsaw. It was rebuilt between 1948 and 1951 according to the design of Czesław Konopka and Henryk Białobrzeski, with the elevation from the courtyard being rebuilt according to the design of Marconi, and the garden elevation according to the modified original Baroque design of Tylman van Gameren.

Air Ambulance

The Polish Medical Air Rescue (Polish: Lotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe, lit.'Aerial Emergency Medical Service', LPR) is an air ambulance service subordinate to the Ministry of Health of Poland. Its fleet includes 27 EC135 helicopters, and 2 Piaggio P.180 Avanti fixed wing airplanes, which operate out of 22 locations throughout Poland.

Marian Zembala was a Polish cardiac surgeon, full professor of medicine who served as Health Minister in 2015 and as a deputy to the Sejm (2015–2019). He was a member of Zbigniew Religa's team who performed the first successful heart transplant in Poland in 1985.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Second Cabinet of Józef Cyrankiewicz</span> Government of Poland

The second government of Józef Cyrankiewicz, led by Prime Minister Józef Cyrankiewicz, marked a significant period in Polish political history. Józef Cyrankiewicz, who had held the position of Chairman of the Council of Ministers since March 18, 1954, resigned on February 20, 1957. This resignation followed his dismissal on that day by the State Council. The Sejm of the Polish People's Republic subsequently adopted the government proposal presented by Józef Cyrankiewicz. On February 20, the Sejm appointed Józef Cyrankiewicz as Prime Minister and charged him with outlining the government's composition. A week later, the Sejm approved the proposed government, comprising 30 individuals, including the Prime Minister, three vice-presidents, the chairman of the Planning Commission, and 25 ministers. To accommodate the planned restructuring of the supreme administrative bodies, five ministers held dual portfolios, while two ministries remained vacant. The government remained in office until May 18, 1961, when Prime Minister Józef Cyrankiewicz, along with the entire cabinet, resigned three days before its scheduled dissolution.

Franciszka Cegielska was a politician, government official and engineer. She was the Minister of Health of Poland from 1999 to 2000. Additionally, she was also a member of Sejm of Poland from 1997 to 2000, a member and chairporson of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Sejmik from 1998 to 1999, and the mayor of Gdynia from 1990 to 1998.
