Minister of Human and Minority Rights (Montenegrin : Ministar za ljudska i manjinska prava) is the person in charge of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights of Montenegro (Ministarstvo za ljudska i manjinska prava). In 2020, Ministry merged into the Ministry of Justice (Ministarstvo pravde).

Montenegrin is a normative variety of the Serbo-Croatian language mainly used by Montenegrins and is the official language of Montenegro. Montenegrin is based on the most widespread dialect of Serbo-Croatian, Shtokavian, more specifically on Eastern Herzegovinian, which is also the basis of Standard Croatian, Serbian, and Bosnian.
The Democratic Union of Albanians is a conservative political party of the Albanian minority in Montenegro.
The current Constitution of Montenegro was ratified and adopted by the Constitutional Parliament of Montenegro on 19 October 2007 in an extraordinary session by achieving the required two-thirds supermajority of votes. It was officially proclaimed on 22 October 2007, replacing the constitution of 1992.
The Ministry of Justice in the Government of Montenegro is the ministry in the Government of Montenegro which is in charge of the nation's justice system and human and minority rights.
Montenegro has recognised same-sex unions since 15 July 2021. In July 2020, the Parliament of Montenegro passed a bill, by 42 votes to 5, to recognise life partnerships for same-sex couples offering several, but not all, of the rights and benefits of marriage. The bill was signed into law on 3 July 2020 by President Milo Đukanović, and took effect on 15 July 2021.
The Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue of the Republic of Serbia is the ministry in the Government of Serbia which is in charge of human and minority rights. The ministry merged into the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government on 14 March 2011 and was re-instated again under the Second cabinet of Ana Brnabić in 2020.
The Constitutional Act on the Rights of National Minorities in the Republic of Croatia is constitutional law which defines rights of national minorities in Croatia. It is one of in total three Constitutional Acts in the Croatian legal system, with the other two being the Constitutional Act on Implementation of the Constitution of Croatia and the Constitutional Act on the Constitutional Court of Croatia. In its current form, the Act entered into force on 23 December 2002. Its earlier version, under the title Constitutional Act on National and Ethnic Communities or Minorities was passed in December 1991 as a precondition of the international community for the recognition of Croatian independence from the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The Act is hierarchically under the Constitution of Croatia and must comply with it, but above ordinary state laws and decisions, and above statutes and decisions of lower levels of government, which all must be in accordance with this law. Additionally, two special laws were created to define rights regarding education in minority languages and specific rights on the usage of minority languages in public life. Additionally, the Constitution of Croatia itself has articles directly relating to the protection of national minorities, and lists traditional minorities in Croatia.

Minister of Labor and Social Welfare was the person in charge of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare of Montenegro. In 2020, Ministry merged into the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare.
Minister of Public Administration is the person in charge of the Ministry of Public Administration of Montenegro. Tamara Srzentić, an independent politician is the current Minister of Public Administration, since 4 December 2020.
Minister of Capital Investments is the person in charge of the Ministry of Capital Investments of Montenegro. Ministry of Capital Investments was formed in December 2020 with reorganization of the Ministry of Transportation and Maritime Affairs and Montenegrin Ministry of Economy.
Minister of Science was the person in charge of the Ministry of Science of Montenegro. Prior to 2010, the Minister of Education and Science was in charge of science affairs. In 2020, Ministry once again merged into the Ministry of Education.
Minister of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism is the person in charge of the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism of Montenegro. The ministry was formed in 2020 with reorganization of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism.
Minister of Sports and Youth was the person in charge of the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Montenegro. Prior to 2016, the Minister of Education and Sports was in charge of youth and sports affairs. In 2020, Ministry once again merged into the Ministry of Education.
Milan Antonijevic is a Serbian lawyer, human rights activist and as of 2019, executive director of the Open Society Foundation Serbia.
Vladimir Leposavić is a Montenegrin lawyer and politician who served as the Minister of Justice and Human and Minority Rights in the Government of Montenegro and the cabinet of Zdravko Krivokapić from 4 December 2020 to 17 June 2021. Prior to this, he was a senior legal advisor of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral and the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro.
Sergej Sekulović is a Montenegrin lawyer and independent politician who is currently serving as the Minister of Internal Affairs in the Government of Montenegro and the cabinet of Zdravko Krivokapić since 4 December 2020 when he replaced Mevludin Nuhodžić of the Democratic Party of Socialists. He has a master's degree in human rights and is a civic activist. He served as a legal advisor to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Ranko Krivokapić and also was an advisor to the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Boris Marić in the provisional government in 2016, and previously a member of the centre-right Movement for Changes (PzP) of Nebojša Medojević until his removal from the party in 2010. Since July 2021, he has also been acting Minister of Justice and Human and Minority Rights of Montenegro, until the selection of a new minister.
