The Ministry of Transport is the governmental body of Tanzania with "primary responsibility for Transport Policy, Planning and Coordination functions as well as oversight of Infrastructure delivery and asset management." [1]
The secretary of state for transport, also referred to as the transport secretary, is a secretary of state in the Government of the United Kingdom, with overall responsibility for the policies of the Department for Transport. The incumbent is a member of the Cabinet of the United Kingdom.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation in India is the nodal ministry responsible for the formulation of national policies and programmes for the development and regulation of civil aviation.
