Minx is the fourth album by the English punk rock band Leatherface. [4] [2] It was released in 1993 by Roughneck Records.
Due to its more polished production, it was regarded by some critics as a lesser album than its predecessor, Mush . [5]
Trouser Press wrote that "Stubbs’ grotesquely rough voice still pours out the fury and Leatherface remains an unreservedly mighty force, but there are fewer places where the tuneful roar goes over the deep edge." [4] AllMusic wrote that "as it moves along, Minx sounds a bit too samey, but still sustains the heapin' hooks and super lyrics. A lot of the songs seem ordinary, or not their best, but each has some place -- a chorus, a striking bridge, a well-placed, dramatic buildup -- where it sounds triumphant, or incredibly exciting." [3]
Nomeansno was a Canadian punk rock band formed in Victoria, British Columbia and later relocated to Vancouver. They released 11 albums, including a collaborative album with Jello Biafra, and numerous EPs and singles. Critic Martin Popoff described their music as "the mightiest merger between the hateful aggression of punk and the discipline of heavy metal." Nomeansno's distinct hardcore punk sound, complex instrumentation, and dark, "savagely intelligent" lyrics inspired subsequent musicians. They were a formative influence on punk jazz, post-hardcore, math rock, and emo.

Envy is the debut studio album by American band Eve's Plum. It was released on August 31, 1993, on 550 Records. Before it was released, the debut single, "Blue," was promoted on MTV, appearing on an episode of Beavis and Butthead. However, the single and album failed to chart. The second single, "Die Like Someone," was released in a censored version the following year and also failed to chart.
