Yaakov Chesed is an American Jewish rock band from Long Island, New York. Formed in 2006, the group won Battle of the Bands competitions at Yeshiva University and Lander College before recording two studio albums, Rise Above (2007) and The Passage (2009). Their name is a quote from the Uva Letzion prayer in Shacharis.

It typically draws stylistically from contemporary genres like pop, rock, jazz, and dance music, while incorporating text from Jewish prayer, Torah, and Talmud as well as traditional Jewish songs and occasional original English lyrics with themes of faith and positivity. The genre was pioneered in the 1970s by artists like Mordechai Ben David and the Miami Boys Choir, who incorporated secular pop and dance influences into their music in contrast to the more traditional Jewish music of the time, and has had continued success in the modern era with singers like Yaakov Shwekey, Lipa Schmeltzer, Baruch Levine, and Benny Friedman.
Even Yisrael is a former courtyard neighborhood in Jerusalem, Israel. Built in 1875, it was the sixth Jewish neighborhood to be established outside the Old City walls. It is now part of the Nachlaot neighborhood. In 2004 the neighborhood underwent preservation and renovation by the Jerusalem Municipality, which re-paved and re-landscaped the central courtyard and added a small stone amphitheater for tour groups and daytime passersby.

Since his debut album, Eitan has released several music videos and various singles, most notably the Am Yisrael Chai' music video shot in Israel, 'Lehodos Lecha' released last summer and 'Lo Iyrah - Avidan's Song' released this April 2019 in memory of his son, Avidan. Freilich has been traveling performing at camps and concerts worldwide including Camp HASC, Las Vegas, and even nearer to home, Turnberry - Scotland. Following his sold-out concert with Avraham Fried and Beri Webber last year, Eitan released his second album 'Yavo Shalom', an album which he believes encapsulates the years of hard work and deep learning in song - an album very close to his heart making a splash worldwide.
