Gabrielle Vilela of Rio de Janeiro crowned her successor, Jéssica Carvalho of Piauí at the end of the contest. Carvalho represented Brazil at Miss World 2018. The Miss Brazil 2014 was the 60th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant, held in Centro de Eventos do Ceará, Fortaleza, Ceará, Jakelyne Oliveira of Mato Grosso, crowned her successor Melissa Gurgel of Ceará. The competition was filmed on 7 November 2021 on board the MSC Preziosa, and aired on 9 November. In order to preserve the secrecy of the results before its airdate, crowning moments for all three finalists were filmed, while only the one of the winner was aired.

The Miss Brazil World 2001 pageant took place on September 28, 2001. It was 16th edition of the contest. Each state and the Federal District competed for their state and went to compete for the title of the Brazilian Crown for Miss World. The winner entered Miss World 2001. This year was the first time that Miss Brazil World was separated from the main pageant, Miss Brazil, for only 1 year. Joyce Yara Silva Aguiar of São Paulo ended being the winner at the end of the contest and also the first black woman to be Miss Brazil World. This contest was held separate from Miss Brazil 2001 and was apart from the latter for only a year before rejoining with the main contest the following year.

The Miss Brazil World 1996 pageant took place on October 11, 1996. Each state and the Federal District competed for the title of the Brazilian Crown for Miss World. The winner entered Miss World 1996. Anuska Prado of Espírito Santo ended being the winner at the end of the contest.

Miss Brazil World 2014 was the 25th edition of the Miss Brazil World pageant and the 9th under MMB Productions & Events. The contest took place on August 9, 2014. Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Islands competed for the title. Sancler Frantz of Ilha dos Lobos crowned her successor, Julia Gama of Rio Grande do Sul at the end. Elís Miele Coelho of Espírito Santo crowned her successor, Caroline Teixeira of Distrito Federal at the end of the contest. Teixeira will represent Brazil at Miss World 2021. The contest was held at the Brasília Palace Hotel in Brasília, Distrito Federal, Brazil. This year's contest was originally supposed to take place in 2020 but was delayed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a result, Catharina Choi of Ilhabela was crowned as the Miss Brazil World 2015 by Castro. Choi represented Brazil at Miss World 2015. The contest was held at the Pedro Ivo Theater in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Miss Grand Brazil is an annual female beauty pageant in Brazil, founded in 2014 by a São Paulo-based event organizer "Gerson Antonelli", to select the country's representatives to compete in its parent international contest, Miss Grand International.
