Omkar Prasad Nayyar was an Indian film music composer, singer-songwriter, music producer, and musician. He is considered to be one of the most rhythmic and melodious music directors of the Hindi film industry. He won the 1958 Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for Naya Daur. Nayyar worked extensively with singers Geeta Dutt, Asha Bhosle, Mohammed Rafi, though not with leading Bollywood female singer Lata Mangeshkar.

The film flopped and Hussain blamed the arrival of video in the early 1980s for the film's failure and that it deserved a better fate.
Patthar Ke Sanam is a 1967 Indian Hindi-language movie. Produced by the Nadiadwalas, the film is directed by Raja Nawathe. It stars Manoj Kumar, Waheeda Rehman, Mumtaz, Pran, Mehmood, Lalita Pawar and Aruna Irani. The movie features many hit songs of the era, composed by the legendary Laxmikant Pyarelal and veteran lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri, such as the ever-haunting Patthar Ke Sanam, rendered in the voice of Mohammad Rafi. The film stood ninth in the Box-Office Top Ten List of 1967.

Bundal Baaz is a 1976 Hindi Film fantasy and romantic comedy film directed by Shammi Kapoor. The film stars Rajesh Khanna in the lead role and had Sulakshana Pandit, Shammi Kapoor, Ranjeet, Johnny Walker and others in the supporting roles. Khanna was impressed with the character of Phantom and hence he designed an entire sequence in this film around it. This film was not commercially successful at the time of its release, but was critically acclaimed. However, over the years, this film has gained a cult following and appreciation from audiences upon its screening in television.
Diwana is a 1967 Indian Bollywood film directed by Mahesh Kaul. The film stars Raj Kapoor, Saira Banu and Lalita Pawar in pivotal roles. The film, made under the Anupam Chitra production banner had music by Shankar–Jaikishan, with lyrics by Hasrat Jaipuri and Shailendra. Some songs are still popular like "Diwana Mujhko Log Kahein ", "Jisne Tumhe Chand Si Surat", "Hum To Jate Apne Gaon" and "Tumhari Bhi Jai Jai". This film is also remembered for Kamal Kapoor's strong performance as Raj Kapoor's father.
Sitaron Se Aagey is a 1958 Hindi Black-and-white family film written and directed by Satyen Bose. The film starred Ashok Kumar and Vyjayanthimala, with Johnny Walker, Rajasulochana, Shammi, Jagdish Sethi, Manmohan Krishna and Leela Mishra in supporting roles. The film was produced by V. L. Narasu. The film's score was composed by S. D. Burman with lyrics provided by Majrooh Sultanpuri. Editing was done by Bimal Roy and it was filmed by K. H. Kapadia.
Dr. Vidya is a 1962 Hindi Black-and-white Romantic family film written by Mohan Segal and directed by Rajendra Bhatia. The film stars Vyjayanthimala in the title role and Manoj Kumar in the lead, with Leela Chitnis, Nazir Hussain, Helen, Sunder, Madan Puri, Prem Chopra and Mumtaz Begum, forming an ensemble cast. The film was produced by Mohan Segal under his own banner, Deluxe Films. The film's score was composed by S. D. Burman, with lyrics provided by Majrooh Sultanpuri and Raja Mehdi Ali Khan. While the editing was done by Pratap Dave. This story was adopted from the Marathi film Shikleli Bayko (1959).

Ghar Basake Dekho is a 1963 Hindi family drama film, directed by Kishore Sahu. The film was produced by Trikambhai Dave and Bal Chander Shukla for Ratandeep Pictures, with music composed by Chitragupta and lyrics written by Rajendra Krishan. The story was taken from the Gujarati stage writer Prabhulal Dwivedi's story, 'Grahasti'. The screenplay and dialogues were by Rajendra Krishan.
