Had two elections, The 17th edition of Miss Ecuador, The first edition of Miss Ecuador 1970 was held on May 23 in Guayaquil. There were 16 candidates for the title. That night at the National Club of Guayaquil and directed by the Diario El Universo , they proclaimed Zoila Montesinos Rivera as Miss Ecuador 1970, also won the title of Pearl of the Pacific, we represent ourselves in Miss Universe 1970 in Miami and in Miss Expo International 1970 in Osaka, a curious fact is that Zoila was awarded the same crown design that was maintained from the Miss Ecuador of 1969 to the Miss Ecuador of 1972. The 18th edition of Miss Ecuador, the second edition was made July 16, 1970 by El Telégrafo. There were 11 candidates where Sofia Monteverde Nimbriotis was also elected as Miss Ecuador 1970. She represented us at Miss World 1970 in London. These two ladies are entitled to as Miss Ecuador, which the Organization Miss Ecuador recognizes as bearers of the title.

Thirty-three contestants competed for the national title, which was won by Karla Carrillo from Jalisco, who later competed in Miss Universe 2009 in The Bahamas. Pazmiño represented Ecuador at Miss Earth 2010 she became the first delegate from Ecuador to win the title Miss Earth-Air elemental crown.

Miss Venezuela 2013 was the 60th edition of the Miss Venezuela pageant held on October 10, 2013 at the Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela. At the end of the event, outgoing titleholder Gabriela Isler crowned Migbelis Castellanos of Costa Oriental as her successor.

Miss World Ecuador 2017, the 5th edition of the Miss World Ecuador was held on July 16, 2017 in Machala, Ecuador. Mirka Cabrera from El Oro crowned Romina Zeballos Avellán as her successor, Miss World Ecuador 2017. The contest was directed by Tahíz Panús, and Julián Pico was the general producer. A guest star was Yaritza Reyes, who represented the Dominican Republic at Miss World 2016 in Washington, D.C. in 2016.

Miss Ecuador 2019 was the 69th edition of the Miss Ecuador pageant. The Gala Finale was held on July 19, 2019. Virginia Limongi crowned her successor, Cristina Hidalgo from Guayaquil, at the end of the event. The winner represented Ecuador at Miss Universe 2019 pageant.
