Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2013 was the 58th Annual Miss Universe Puerto Rico pageant, held at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on August 29, 2012.^[1]

Miss Arroyo, Genesis Davila, later competed at Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico 2014 representing Arroyo where she won the title and represented Puerto Rico at Miss World 2014.
Miss Bayamón, Stephanie Román, competed at Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2011 representing Bayamón. She finished as 1st runner-up. She competed at Miss Continente Americano 2011 but didn't qualify and later represented Dorado at Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2016 where she finished as 5th Runner-Up. Additionally she competed at Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico 2016 where she finished as 1st Runner-Up. She later assumed the title of Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico 2016 after Stephanie Del Valle was crowned Miss World 2016.
Miss Cayey, Desireé Del Río, competed at Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2011 representing Ciales. She finished as 3rd runner-up. She later competed at Miss International 2011 and finished as 3rd runner-up. Sha later went on to compete at Miss Supranational 2013, she placed on the Top 20 and won the Miss Photogenic award.
Miss Fajardo, Patricia Corcino, competed at Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2010 representing Caguas, but didn't classify. She later went on to compete on Nuestra Belleza Latina 2011 where she finished on the 6th place.
Miss Adjuntas, Laura Irizarry, won the Elite Model Look Puerto Rico 2010 and represented Puerto Rico in China.
Miss Yauco, Natalia Leyva, was chosen to represent Puerto Rico at Reinado Internacional del Banano 2012 in Ecuador. She finished in Top 5.^[3]
Miss Toa Alta, Ariana Diaz, competed at Top Model of the World 2013. She placed as Semi-finalist. Ariana was chosen to compete after the resignation of Miss Orocovis, Amanda Ortiz.
Miss Corozal, María Nelly Vicioso, later competed at Nuestra Belleza Latina 2013 where she placed in the Top 30. She then competed at Miss Dominican Republic 2013, representing Santo Domingo Este, where she placed in the Top 13.

Historical significance

Arecibo won Miss Universe Puerto Rico for the first time.
The following municipalities also made the semi-finals last year were Aguas Buenas, Arroyo, Cayey, Mayagüez, Toa Alta, and Toa Baja.
Toa Baja placed for the fourth consecutive year.
Las Piedras last placed in 2002.
Lares last placed in 2004.
Fajardo last placed in 2007.
Adjuntas and Arecibo last placed in 2009.
Dorado and Rincón last placed in 2010.
Canóvanas, Corozal, and Humacao last placed in 2011.

Thirty-three contestants from the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Elisa Nájera from Guanajuato, who later competed in Miss Universe 2008 in Vietnam where she was the 4th Runner-up. Nájera was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Rosa María Ojeda. She is the first and only Guanajuatense to win this title.

Miss World Puerto Rico 2009 was the 38th Miss World Puerto Rico pageant, held at the Teatro Alejandro Tapia y Rivera in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on July 23, 2009.

Aideliz Hidalgo is a Puerto Rican beauty pageant titleholder who held the title of Miss Puerto Rico International 2010. She was the first black woman to compete in Miss International as Miss Puerto Rico.

Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2010 was the 55th Miss Puerto Rico Universe pageant, held at the Centro De Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on November 12, 2009.

Nuestra Belleza México 2000, the 7th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Auditorio Emilio Sánchez Piedras of Apizaco, Tlaxcala, Mexico on September 2, 2000. Forty-three contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Jacqueline Bracamontes from Jalisco, who later competed in Miss Universe 2001 in Puerto Rico. Bracamontes was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Leticia Murray. She was the first Jalisciense and the second winner of foreign descent and the third blonde to win this Title.

Viviana Ortiz Pastrana is a Puerto Rican actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2011 on November 4, 2010 and represented Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2011 where she placed Top 16.

Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2012 was the 57th Miss Universe Puerto Rico pageant, held at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce in San Juan, Puerto Rico on November 7, 2011.

Nuestra Belleza México 2012, the 19th annual Nuestra Belleza México beauty pageant, was held at the Poliforum del Centro de Convenciones in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico on September 1, 2012. Thirty-five contestants from Mexico competed for the national title, which was won by Cynthia Duque from Nuevo León, who later competed in Miss Universe 2013 in Russia. Duque was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Karina González. She is the fourth Neoleonesa to win this title.

Monic Marie Pérez Díaz is a Puerto Rican tv host, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2013 and represented Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2013 in Moscow and placed Top 16.

Nuestra Belleza Latina 2013 was the seventh season of Nuestra Belleza Latina and the seventh season to be aired on Univision. The season premiere was on March 10, 2013 at 8pm/7c and was aired every Sunday.

Génesis María Dávila Pérez is a Puerto Rican model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World Puerto Rico 2014 and represented Puerto Rico at Miss World 2014 in London.

Franceska Toro is a Puerto Rican model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2014 and represented Puerto Rico at Miss Earth 2014.

Aleyda Enid Ortiz Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican model, TV host, actress and beauty pageant titleholder who finished as 1st Runner-Up at Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2014 and Miss Intercontinental 2013. She was later crowned Nuestra Belleza Latina 2014.

Madison Sara Anderson Berríos is a Puerto Rican-American model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2019. She represented Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2019 competition where she finished as the 1st Runner-Up. In 2023 she was the winner of the season 3 of La Casa de los Famosos.

Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2021 was the 65th edition of the Miss Universe Puerto Rico pageant, held on September 30, 2021 at Luis A. Ferré Performing Arts Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Estefanía Soto of San Sebastián crowned Michelle Colón of Loíza as her successor at the end of the event. Colón represented Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant and finished as Top 10.

Miss World Puerto Rico 2014 was the 41st Miss World Puerto Rico pageant, held at the Guaynabo School of Fine Arts Theatre in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, on August 13, 2014.
