The Mississauga Halton LHIN is a Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) in the Canadian province of Ontario. It is a community-based, non-profit organization funded by the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.

Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) are the health authorities responsible for regional administration of public healthcare services in the province of Ontario, Canada.

Etobicoke is an administrative district and former city that makes up the western part of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Etobicoke was first settled by Europeans in the 1790s; the municipality grew into city status in the 20th century. Milton District Hospital is a community hospital built on 40 acres (16 ha) of land, located in Milton, Ontario, Canada. It is operated by Halton Healthcare Services, an organization which also operates Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Georgetown Hospital.
Milton is a town in Southern Ontario, Canada, and part of the Halton Region in the Greater Toronto Area. Between 2001 and 2011 Milton was the fastest growing municipality in Canada, with a 71.4% increase in population from 2001 to 2006 and another 56.5% increase from 2006 to 2011. In 2016, Milton's census population was 110,128 with an estimated growth to 228,000 by 2031.

Credit Valley Hospital is a regional hospital located in Mississauga, Ontario. Officially opened on November 5, 1985, it is now part of the Trillium Health Partners hospital group and primarily serves the communities of north Mississauga: Streetsville, Meadowvale, Erin Mills and the surrounding area. In 2012, it was ranked as the best hospital in the Greater Toronto Area in a study conducted by the Canadian Institute for Health Information.

Mississauga Halton LHIN services a region that includes a south-west portion of the City of Toronto, the south part of the Regional Municipality of Peel, and the Regional Municipality of Halton except for the City of Burlington, which is part of the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant LHIN. The LHIN includes the municipalities of South Etobicoke, ON, Mississauga, ON, Halton Hills, ON, Oakville, ON, and Milton, ON.

The entire region is part of the Greater Toronto Area and the inner ring of Golden Horseshoe. The regional seat is in Brampton.

The Regional Municipality of Halton, or Halton Region, is a regional municipality in Ontario, Canada, located in the Golden Horseshoe of Southern Ontario. It comprises the city of Burlington and the towns of Oakville, Milton, and Halton Hills. The region provides policing by the Halton Regional Police Service. The regional council's headquarters are located in Oakville. Burlington and Oakville are largely urban and suburban, while the towns of Milton and Halton Hills are more rural.

The Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital is a full-service acute care community hospital located at 3001 Hospital Gate in Oakville, Ontario. It offers a comprehensive range of primary and secondary care services in addition to some tertiary services. It is operated by Halton Healthcare, an organization which also operates Georgetown Hospital and Milton District Hospital. The hospital is supported by the Oakville Hospital Foundation and the Oakville Hospital Volunteer Association which raises funds to purchase equipment for the hospital. The new hospital was opened in 2015 and the hospital is affiliated with the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University.

William Osler Health System, formerly William Osler Health Centre, is a hospital network in Ontario, Canada that serves the city Brampton and the western Toronto district of Etobicoke. The network is named for Canadian physician William Osler, one of the four founding professors of Johns Hopkins Hospital and developer of the concept of medical residency.

Peel Memorial Hospital (PMH) was a 367-bed acute care hospital located in central Brampton, Ontario. PMH was founded in 1925 and became a part of the William Osler Health Centre in 1998. It previously served approximately 400,000 residents in Brampton and the surrounding areas. Over 96,832 patients were treated on an out-patient basis, another 70,446 residents used the 24/7 emergency department and 22,889 patients were admitted for inpatient care. The hospital employed over 1,800 professional and support personnel. There were 320 physicians as well as approximately 600 volunteers that contributed their services and fund raising efforts.
