Misterer is a Finnish thrash/groove metal [1] band from Helsinki.
Misterer was founded by multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer Mikko Herranen in Helsinki in the fall 2017. Herranen (RUST, Velcra, Mauron Maiden) is joined by Juhani Flinck (Dead Shape Figure, Hope) on guitar, Timo Hänninen (Iiwanajulma, Cro Loner, Velcra) on guitar and Beavis (Of All Times) on bass. [2]
Misterer's first single and a music video for Backrage was released worldwide in March 2018. The second single Disconnected followed in May. Released in August 2018, their third single Perkelation tells a tragicomic story on how the Finns get hammered every weekend and occasionally express their feelings in a drunken brawl in queue for the grill or a taxi. Misterer releases its debut album Ignoramus on digital download and streaming services and as a CD and a cassette on 24 April 2019. [4]
On 18 December 2020, Misterer released their second full-length album Under Attack. The first two singles We Kill and Totalitarian featured guest musicians Samy Elbanna and MC Raaka Pee respectively. Other guests on Under Attack include Marko Hietala, Matias Kupiainen, Petri Lindroos, Ben Varon and Niki Jurmu. [5] The album has been reviewed to feature interesting turns and dynamics that change the soundscape as well as groove with thrash and industrial elements. [6]

Attack of the Killer B's is a compilation album of B-sides, covers and rarities by the thrash metal band Anthrax and the band's last audio album released before vocalist John Bush replaced longtime Anthrax vocalist Joey Belladonna in 1992. The album was released in June 1991 by Megaforce Worldwide/Island Entertainment. The "B's" in the album's title refers to b-sides previously unreleased and compiled for a single release. In 1992 the album was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category Best Metal Performance.
Prong is an American heavy metal band formed in New York City in 1986. The band is fronted by guitarist/vocalist Tommy Victor, Prong's sole constant member. To date, they have released 12 studio albums, one live album, four EPs, one DVD and one remix album.
Destruction is a German thrash metal band formed in 1982. They are often credited as one of the "Big Four" of the German thrash metal scene, the others being Kreator, Sodom and Tankard. In addition to helping pioneer black metal, Destruction was part of the second wave of thrash metal in the mid-to-late 1980s, along with American bands like Testament, Sacred Reich, Death Angel and Dark Angel. For most of the 1990s, the band was not signed to a record label and was forced to self-produce their albums until they signed a contract with Nuclear Blast in the early 2000s.
Velcra was a Finnish industrial/electronic group, established 2000. Their music features female vocals on a background of heavily distorted guitars and marching beats with heavy use of sample loops.
Groove metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music that began in the early 1990s. The genre achieved success in the 1990s and continued having success in the 2000s. Inspired by thrash metal and traditional heavy metal, groove metal features raspy singing and screaming, down-tuned guitars, heavy guitar riffs, and syncopated rhythms. Unlike thrash metal, groove metal is usually slower and also uses elements of traditional heavy metal. Pantera are often considered the pioneers of groove metal, and groove metal expanded in the 1990s with bands like White Zombie, Machine Head, and Sepultura. The genre continued in the 2000s with bands like Lamb of God, DevilDriver, and Five Finger Death Punch.
W.A.S.P. is the debut studio album by the American heavy metal band W.A.S.P., released August 17, 1984. The album has been known under three different names; the spine of the original European vinyl release had Winged Assassins printed on it, while early cassette releases of the album had the name of the album's first track, "I Wanna Be Somebody", printed in bold letters on the cover. Mikko Herranen is a Finnish singer and musician. His current band Misterer is a thrash metal band from Helsinki and they are preparing songs for their upcoming debut album. Previously, he fronted RUST, which released three albums and several singles between 2003 and 2010. Herranen competed in Michael Monroe's team in the reality singing competition The Voice of Finland in 2012. His debut solo album Kylmä maailma was released through Johanna Kustannus in June 2012.
RUST was a Finnish rock band from Helsinki formed in 2001. The band's first album, Softly, was released in Finland in August 2004 and reached Top 50 on the national album chart with promising reviews in music papers, magazines and web magazines in Europe. Finland's top nationwide rock radio network YleX chose Softly as the album of the week in August 2004. The singer and bass guitarist, Mikko Herranen, has produced all of the band's recordings, including three full-length albums, two EPs and five singles.

Awakening from Abyss is the debut studio album by Japanese power metal band Lovebites. The album was released on October 25, 2017 in Japan by Victor Entertainment and in North America by Sliptrick Records, and in Europe two days later by JPU Records. It features a total of twelve songs, including re-recordings of those from their debut, The Lovebites EP. Awakening from Abyss reached number 18 on the Oricon chart and number 33 on Billboard Japan.
