Premise

A woman in China hires a professional "mistress dispeller" to break up her husband's affair.

Production

In September 2022, it was announced Elizabeth Lo would direct a documentary film revolving around Mistress Dispellers, with Anonymous Content and Impact Partners set to finance and produce. [2] International Documentary Association and One in a Billion Productions provided additional support for the film. [3] [4]

Release

It will have its world premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in September 2024, in the Orizzonti section. [5]
