Mo Mitchell was the head gymnastics coach at the University of Kentucky. He coached the Wildcats gymnastics program from 2005 to 2010. In 2006, he led Kentucky to its first winning season in 13 years, and only the second in program history. In 2008, he duplicated it, by earning his second winning season, including the program's third consecutive trip to the NCAA regionals. In 2006, he earned NCAA Central Region Coach of the Year honors. He is an alumnus of the University of Houston. He is now coaching at Michigan State University.

Courtney Anne Kupets Carter is an American former artistic gymnast. She is a two-time Olympic medalist from the 2004 Olympics, the 2002 world champion on the uneven bars, the 2003 U.S. national all-around champion, and the 2004 U.S. national all-around co-champion. She is also a member of the gold medal-winning U.S. team at the 2003 World Championships.

John Vincent Calipari is an American basketball coach who is the head coach at the University of Arkansas. He was the head coach at the University of Kentucky from 2009 until the end of the 2023–2024 season, which he led to one NCAA National Championship in 2012.
