The Mohali Municipal Corporation, also known as Municipal Corporation SAS Nagar, is the civic body that governs the planned city of Mohali in Punjab, India. Mohali is also the headquarters of the Mohali district. There are 50 wards of the city. There was 60.48% voter turnout in first election held on 22 February 2015. [3]

Past City Corporation (2015-2020)

Kulwant Singh was inaugural Mayor of Mohali since 31 August 2015 [4] [5] while Rishabh Jain was elected senior Deputy Mayor and Manjit Singh Sethi was Deputy Mayor of Mohali until 2020. [6] Following is list of corporators chosen after Mohali Municipal Council Election 2015: [7] -

The main problems in city include parking, water shortage, garbage and parks/green belts maintenance are to be taken care of by these corporators.

Sector 70 is a residential and historical sector located in Mohali, Punjab. It is covered with Mattaur, Sector 71, Sohana, Sector 69 and Phase 7, Mohali. There are many parks, around 10, in locality among which famous is Musical Fountain Park for evening stroll and recreation activities. There are many residential complex, apartments and societies.

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Inter State Bus Terminus or Mohali Bus Stand is an India's first air conditioned bus station located in the sector 56-57 of Mohali city. It was constructed at a cost of 700 crore (US$84 million) and opened to public on 16 December 2016. It will have 1844 Punjab Roadways buses with 1810 ordinary and 34 super integral coach AC buses.

SAS Nagar Mohali railway station is the main railway station in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district in Punjab. It serves Mohali, the city adjacent to Chandigarh of the Indian state of Punjab.

Kulwant Singh is a businessman and politician who is currently a Member of Legislative Assembly from SAS Nagar and is the first Mayor of Mohali (Punjab). He is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party.
