Md. Ali Ashraf Fatmi (born 1 January 1956) was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Darbhanga constituency of Bihar. [1]
Lalu Prasad is an Indian politician and president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). He is a former Chief Minister of Bihar (1990-1997),a former Railway Minister of India (2004-2009),and a former Member of Parliament (MP) of the Lok Sabha &Rajya Sabha.

JD(U) states that they believe in promoting social justice and lifting up marginalized peoples.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal is an Indian political party,mainly based in the state of Bihar. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Bihar is a state in Eastern India. It is the third largest state by population,the 12th largest by area,and the 15th largest by GDP in 2021. Bihar borders Uttar Pradesh to its west,Nepal to the north,the northern part of West Bengal to the east,and Jharkhand to the south. Bihar is split by the river Ganges,which flows from west to east. On 15 November 2000,southern Bihar was ceded to form the new state of Jharkhand. Only 11.27% of the population of Bihar lives in urban areas as per a 2020 report. Additionally,almost 58% of Biharis are below the age of 25,giving Bihar the highest proportion of young people of any Indian state. The official language is Hindi,which shares official status alongside that of Urdu. The main native languages are Maithili,Magahi and Bhojpuri. But there are several other languages being spoken at smaller levels.
Rajendra Prasad was an Indian politician,lawyer,journalist and scholar who served as the first president of India from 1952 to 1962. He joined the Indian National Congress during the Indian independence movement and became a major leader from the region of Bihar. A supporter of Mahatma Gandhi,Prasad was imprisoned by British authorities during the Salt Satyagraha of 1930 and the Quit India movement of 1942. After the constituent assembly 1946 elections,Prasad served as 1st Minister of Food and Agriculture in the central government from 1947 to 1948. Upon independence in 1947,Prasad was elected as President of the Constituent Assembly of India,which prepared the Constitution of India and which served as its provisional Parliament.
The Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation is a communist political party in India. The party is represented in Bihar and Jharkhand Legislative Assemblies. Since 2023,the party is also a member of the INDIA electoral alliance. In Bihar,the party has significant base amongst the Extremely Backward Castes and the Schedule Castes. It was successful in mobilising Upper Backward Caste groups such as Koeris in some districts of central Bihar,prior to the rise of Lalu Prasad Yadav. The party faced existential crisis when a large section of its Koeri and Yadav support base defected to Rashtriya Janata Dal in 1990s. However,the ideological commitment of its cadre protected it from disintegration. It staged a comeback in politics after winning twelve seats in Bihar Legislative Assembly in 2020 and by sending two of its members to Lok Sabha in 2024 Indian general elections.
Munger,formerly spelt as Monghyr,is a twin city and a Municipal Corporation situated in the Indian state of Bihar. It is the administrative headquarters of Munger district and Munger Division. Munger was one of the major cities in Eastern India and undivided Bengal during Mughal period and British Raj. It is one of the major political,cultural,educational and commercial center of Bihar and Eastern India. Munger is situated about 180km from east of capital city Patna,about 480km west of Eastern India's largest city Kolkata and 1200km from country's capital New Delhi.
Araria district is one of the thirty-eight districts of Bihar state,India. Araria district is a part of Purnia division. The district occupies an area of 2,830 km2 (1,090 sq mi). Araria town is the administrative headquarters of this district. Distance from Nepal border is only about 8 km from Forbesganj head quarter.

Shri Krishna Singh (Sinha) (21 October 1887 –31 January 1961),also known as Shri Babu,was the first chief minister of the Indian state of Bihar (1946–61). Except for the period of World War II,Sinha was the chief minister of Bihar from the time of the first Congress Ministry in 1937 until his death in 1961. Along with the Desh Ratna Rajendra Prasad and Bihar Vibhuti Anugrah Narayan Sinha (A.N. Sinha),Sinha is regarded among the architects of modern Bihar. He also led the Dalit entry into the Baidyanath Dham temple (Vaidyanath Temple,Deoghar). He was the first chief minister in the country to abolish the zamindari system. He underwent terms of imprisonment for a total of about eight years in British India. Sinha's mass meetings brought many people to hear him. He was known as Bihar Kesari for his "lionlike roars" in public speaking. His close friend and Gandhian Bihar Vibhuti A.N. Sinha in his essay Mere Shri Babu wrote that,"Since 1921,the History of Bihar has been the history of the life of Shri Babu". The 'Bihar Kesari' never visited his constituency to ask for votes as he believed that his work will speak for him.
Bihari is a demonym given to the inhabitants of the Indian state of Bihar. Bihari people can be separated into three main Indo-Aryan ethnolinguistic groups,Bhojpuris,Maithils and Magadhis. They are also further divided into a variety of hereditary caste groups. In Bihar today,the Bihari identity is seen as secondary to caste/clan,linguistic and religious identity but nonetheless is a subset of the larger Indian identity. Biharis can be found throughout India,and in the neighbouring countries of Nepal,Pakistan and Bangladesh. During the Partition of India in 1947,many Bihari Muslims migrated to East Bengal. Bihari people are also well represented in the Muhajir people of Pakistan because of Partition.

Patna,historically known as Pāṭaliputra,is the capital and largest city of the state of Bihar in India. The modern city of Patna is mainly on the southern bank of the river Ganges. The city also straddles the rivers Son,Gandak and Punpun. The city is approximately 35 kilometres (22 mi) in length and 16 to 18 kilometres wide.

Ram Nath Kovind is an Indian politician and lawyer who served as the 14th president of India from 2017 to 2022. He is the first person from Uttar Pradesh to serve as President of India. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and also the first person from BJP to become the President of India. Prior to his presidency,he served as the 26th Governor of Bihar from 2015 to 2017. He also served as a Member of Rajya Sabha from 1994 to 2006. Before entering politics,he was a lawyer for 16 years and practised in the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India until 1993.
