Mohammed Hossain Al Morshed ndc, afwc, psc is a Major General of Bangladesh Army and Commandant, Bangladesh Infantry Regimental Centre. Prior to that, he was Director General of National Security Intelligence. [1] Prior to join NSI, he was Senior Directing Staff (Army-2) at National Defence College. [2]

Military career

Morshed was commissioned as an officer in the corps of Infantry at 26th BMA Long Course in June, 1992. [1]

In 2018, Morshed was the Chairman of the tournament committee at the Savar Golf Club. [3]

Morshed was an instructor at the National Defence College [4] .

In April 2024, Morshed was appointed director general of the National Security National Security Intelligence replacing Major General T. M. Jobaer. [1] [5] On 12 August 2024 he was removed from the post and was succeeded by Major General Abu Mohammad Sarwar Farid on 13 August 2024.

Abu Mohammad Sarwar Farid is a major general of the Bangladesh Army and director general of National Intelligence Agency of Bangladesh. Previously he was the Commandant of Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA). Before that, he was Deputy Military Secretary (DMS) at Bangladesh Army Headquarters and also served as Director of Armour in Army Headquarters, Armoured Directorate. He commanded 93 Armoured Brigade under 11th Infantry Division in Bogura after that he served as a Directing Staff in Armed Forces War Course Wing in National Defence College, Bangladesh.
