Abu Mohammad Sarwar Farid is a major general of the Bangladesh Army and director general of National Intelligence Agency of Bangladesh. [1] [2] [3] [4] Previously he was the commandant of the Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA). Before that, he was deputy military secretary (DMS) at Bangladesh Army Headquarters and also served as director of armour in Army Headquarters, Armoured Directorate. He commanded 93 Armoured Brigade under 11th Infantry Division in Bogra. After that he served as a directing staff in Armed Forces War Course Wing in National Defence College, Bangladesh.

Mohammad Jahangir Alam is a Major General of Bangladesh Army. Currently serving as the Director General (DG) of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), the military intelligence unit of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. He took over this position in October 2024. Prior to his current role, he was the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 33 Infantry Division and the Area Commander of Cumilla Area.
