The Director General of National Security Intelligence of Bangladesh is the professional head of the National Security Intelligence (abbreviated as NSI). It is the principal civilian intelligence agency of Bangladesh.

    The Bangla Academy is the official regulatory body of the Bengali language in Bangladesh. It is an autonomous institution funded by the Government of Bangladesh that fosters the Bengali language, literature and culture, works to develop and implement national language policy and conducts original research in Bengali.     Supreme Court of Bangladesh is the highest court of law in Bangladesh. It is composed of the High Court Division and the Appellate Division, and was created by Part VI Chapter I of the Constitution of Bangladesh adopted in 1972. This is also the office of the chief justice, Appellate Division justices, and High Court Division justices of Bangladesh. As of August 2024, there are 6 justices in the Appellate Division and 78 justices in the High Court Division.

    Muhammed Abul ManzurBU was a Bangladeshi military officer who commanded the Bangladesh Forces operations in Sector 8 during the Bangladesh Liberation War against Pakistan in 1971. He was allegedly involved in the assassination of the then-president of Bangladesh, Ziaur Rahman. The erstwhile chief of army staff and alleged mastermind of Rahman's assassination, Hussain Muhammad Ershad, had put a standing shoot-to-kill order on Manzur's life—he was killed shortly after being captured at the border. About a year later, Ershad initiated a bloodless coup d'état and took over the central government, holding power until 1990.

    The National Security Intelligence, commonly known as the NSI, is the principal civilian intelligence agency of Bangladesh. The NSI's headquarters is in Segunbagicha, Dhaka. The NSI is the leading body of the Government of Bangladesh in the field of internal security, counter terrorism, counter intelligence and foreign intelligence. NSI is the largest among the intelligence agencies in Bangladesh, the others being the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), SB, CID, PBI and intelligence directorates of armed and paramilitary forces. The agency stands under the direct authority of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

    The incident of the 10-Truck Arms and Ammunition Haul took place in Chattogram, Bangladesh, on the night of 1 April 2004, when police and Coast Guard interrupted the loading of ten trucks and seized extensive illegal arms and ammunition at a jetty of Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Limited (CUFL) on the Karnaphuli River. This is believed to be the largest arms smuggling incident in the history of Bangladesh.

    Amjad Hossain was a Bangladeshi film director, actor, scriptwriter and lyricist. He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Director twice, for the films Golapi Ekhon Traine (1978) and Bhat De (1984). He also won Bangla Academy Literary Award in 2004 and Ekushey Padak in 1992.

    Army Institute of Business Administration, commonly known as Army IBA, is a business school run by the Bangladesh Army in affiliation with the Bangladesh University of Professionals in Savar Cantonment, Savar, Dhaka.

    Tariq Mohammed Jobaer is a retired Major General and former Director General of National Security Intelligence, the main civil intelligence agency in Bangladesh, from July 2018 to March 2024.

    Mohammed Hossain Al Morshed ndc, afwc, psc is a Major General of Bangladesh Army and Commandant, Bangladesh Infantry Regimental Centre. Prior to that, he was Director General of National Security Intelligence. Prior to join NSI, he was Senior Directing Staff (Army-2) at National Defence College.

    A. J. M. Aminul Haque was a Bangladesh Army officer and veteran of the Bangladesh Liberation War. He was awarded the Bir Uttom, Bangladesh's second-highest military gallantry award. He was the commanding officer of the 8th East Bengal Regiment during the war and retired as a brigadier general from Bangladesh Army.

    Mohammad Jahangir Alam is a Major General of Bangladesh Army. Currently serving as the Director General (DG) of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), the military intelligence unit of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. He took over this position in October 2024. Prior to his current role, he was the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 33 Infantry Division and the Area Commander of Cumilla Area.
