Mole Listening Pearls is a German record label based in Mannheim. From 1996 till 2003 it was owned by UCMG; in 2004 Mole Listening Pearls was overtaken by Daredo Music. The name "Mole" is from the novel "Neuromancer" in which mole is a kind of computer virus.
The first records were compilations. On "Science Jazz Vol. 1", arranged by the Zurich DJ Minus 8, you could find artists like Nightmares on Wax, LTJ Bukem and Lamb, on "Breaking The Ice" you can find, among others, Kruder & Dorfmeister and Red Snapper. From 1997 on individual artists have been signed by this label. The debut album "Detunized Gravity" (1997) by De-Phazz and Yonderboi's debut album "Shallow and Profound" were a big success, as they sold over 30 000 copies. As of August 2008, 84 albums of 31 Bands have been released. Still, various compilations will be released. These compilations act as an overview of all artists and their production on one hand, and there are a number of programmatical demands for certain music styles on the other. For instance "Batacuda" – already three follow-ups have been released between 2000 and 2007 – has afro-percussive influenced tracks, while "Science Fiction Jazz" with its eleven editions between 1996 until 2008, made a fundamental contribution to the evolution of NuJazz.

Matthew David Cameron is an American musician who is the drummer for the rock band Pearl Jam. He first gained fame as the drummer for Seattle-based rock band Soundgarden, which he joined in 1986. He appeared on each of the band's studio albums until its break-up in 1997. In 1998, Cameron was invited to join Pearl Jam's U.S. Yield Tour and then became a permanent member of the band. In 2010, Cameron became simultaneously a member of Pearl Jam and the reunited Soundgarden. He remained with Soundgarden until its disbandment after the death of lead singer Chris Cornell in 2017. Cameron, along with guitarist Kim Thayil and Cornell, is one of three members to feature on every Soundgarden studio album.
Meat Beat Manifesto, often shortened as Meat Beat, Manifesto or MBM, is an electronic music group originally consisting of Jack Dangers and Jonny Stephens that was formed in 1987 in Swindon, United Kingdom. The band, fronted by Dangers, has proven versatile over the years, experimenting with techno, breakbeat, industrial, dub and jazz fusion while touring the world and influencing major acts such as Nine Inch Nails, the Chemical Brothers and the Prodigy. His debut album, Shallow and Profound, released in 2000, brought Eastern European music to the Western European electronic music scene, and was met with critical acclaim by producers Laurent Garnier and Gilles Peterson on Radio Nova and BBC Radio 1 Worldwide respectively, as well as performing at the Sziget festival and the Lowlands festival in 2000. His most notable collaboration so far has been an audio-visual show with British film director legend Peter Greenaway during the Berlin Film Festival of 2009.

Anima Sound System is a Hungarian electronic band founded in 1993 in Szombathely. Anima is one of the first and most important Hungarian electronic acts, a unique fusion of Eastern-European folk music and modern electronic styles. The band is currently signed to the Mole Listening Pearls record label. The band soon developed strong ties with the underground Tilos Rádió station in Budapest. Their first international performance, in 1996, took place in Vienna at "Soundsfair Festival", along with bands like Red Snapper, Goldie and Nightmares on Wax.

Žagar is a leading band in Hungarian indie and electronic music. Their sound is based on contemporary electronic music, jazz and indie rock. The results are heavy beats, atmospheric mood and sound clips from the psychedelic era of the late 1960s. Andor Kovács and the leader of the band Balázs Zságer were the co-writers of the Yonderboi album Shallow and Profound in some track.
A Word of Science is the debut studio album by British electronic producers Nightmares on Wax. Released by Warp Records in September 1991, it is the act's only album as a group before it became a solo vehicle for George Evelyn. Evelyn nonetheless recorded and produced the album alone, incorporating samples and elements from demo tapes he made in the late 1980s. Although Nightmares on Wax debuted with two well-received techno singles in 1989-1990, A Word of Science is eclectic and largely moves the act towards a more mellow style influenced by funk, soul and hip hop, while still incorporating techno, drum and bass, and house styles.

Give 'Em Enough Dope Volume One is a compilation album of music by various artists released in 1994 by British electronic label Wall of Sound as their first release. The idea for the album came when Wall of Sound's founder, Mark Jones, wanted to release a compilation of hard-to-find music by unsigned artists, with whom he had worked with via his distribution and pressing deals, so that the music could be heard by a wider audience. He picked his favourite such tracks which there was already an audience for and this became the compilation.
Nu Yorica! – Culture Clash in New York City: Experiments in Latin Music 1970–77 is a 1996 compilation album of Latin music released by Soul Jazz Records in 1996. The album was received positive reviews in The Guardian and Muzik on its initial release. A follow-up album titled Nu Yorica 2! was released in 1997. The album was reissued in 2015 with remastered audio and some re-arranged and re-placed tracks.
