The Mongolian 1st League (also known as the Khurkhree National 1st League for sponsorship reasons) is the second-highest division of Mongolian association football leagues. The league was founded in 2015 by the Mongolian Football Federation.

Khaan Khuns - Erchim FC is a professional football club from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia who have been playing in the Mongolian Premier League, which they have won ten times, since its inaugural year in 1996. The Mongolian Football Federation applied to enter the 2012 AFC President's Cup, and was approved by the AFC in November 2011. As winners of the 2012 Super Cup, Erchim were awarded the place in the competition. In 2017 the club qualified for the AFC Cup, becoming the first Mongolian club to do so.

The 2015 Mongolian Premier League also known as the Khurkhree National Top League is the 47th edition of the tournament. Two new teams entered the competition, Deren and Soyombiin Barsuud to increase the number of teams to nine. The season started on 16 May 2015 and was ended on 26 September.

The 2016 Mongolian Premier League is the 48th edition of the tournament. Erchim came into the season as defending champions of the 2015 season.

The 2017 Mongolian Premier League is the 49th edition of the tournament. Erchim came into the season as defending champions of the 2016 season.
