Mongolian cattle is a Mongolian indigenous cattle breed. The majority are found in Inner Mongolia. However, some exist in the northeast, north, and northwest. Coat colors range from brindle or reddish brown but occasionally can be seen in black, yellow, or pied. The cattle have two types: Ujumqin and Halhïn Gol. [1] In 1949, Mongolian cattle began to be improved with crossbreeding to European breeds in limited numbers. [ citation needed ]
Mongolian cattle have been herded for centuries by nomads and are highly valued for their meat. [2] [3]
In 2008, 40,000 of the breed died due to harsh winter conditions. [4]
The Texas Longhorn is an American breed of beef cattle, characterized by its long horns, which can span more than 8 ft (2.4 m) from tip to tip. It derives from cattle brought from the Iberian Peninsula to the Americas by Spanish conquistadores from the time of the Second Voyage of Christopher Columbus until about 1512. For hundreds of years the cattle lived a semi-feral existence on the rangelands; they have a higher tolerance of heat and drought than most European breeds. It can be of any color or mix of colors. In some 40% of the cattle it is some shade of red, often a light red; the only shade of red not seen is the deep color typical of the Hereford.
The Hereford is a British breed of beef cattle originally from Herefordshire in the West Midlands of England. It was the result of selective breeding from the mid-eighteenth century by a few families in Herefordshire, beginning some decades before the noted work of Robert Bakewell.

Danish Red cattle, also known as Red Danish or Red Dane, are a major dairy cattle breed in northern Europe. There are 42,599 pedigree cows in Denmark. They can be used as a beef breed once they finish their useful lifetime.
The Angeln is a breed of cattle originally from Angeln in Schleswig-Holstein where they are first mentioned around 1600, however some people think that they may have existed for over 5000 years. Breed management has been practiced since 1830. Angeln cattle are red in color and were one of the founders of the larger Danish Red Cattle breed. They are noted for the high milkfat level of their milk. Angeln cows produce an average 7570 kg (16,700 lb) of 4.81% fat milk.
The Herens is a breed of cattle named after the Val d'Hérens region of Switzerland. These small, horned alpine cattle are coloured black, brown or dark red, often with a lighter stripe along the spine. The cows are used in organised cow fights.
Kerry cattle are a rare breed of dairy cattle, native to Ireland. They are believed to be one of the oldest breeds in Europe, probably derived from small black cattle brought to Ireland by Neolithic man. They were probably also the first cattle bred mainly for milk production, with other breeds being developed mainly for draught and meat. The climate of southwestern Ireland was suitable for milk production year-round, and the Celts also stored milk in the form of cheese and butter.
Sahiwal cattle is a breed of Indian zebu cow, named after the Sahiwal district of modern-day Pakistan. The cattle is mainly found in Punjab province of Pakistan, and Indian states of Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
Tömörbulag is a sum of Khövsgöl aimag. The area is 2,510 km2, of which about 1,950 km2 are pasture. In 2000, Tömörbulag had a population of 4,174 people, including some Khotgoid. The sum center, officially named Jargalant, is located near the Bügsiin River, 75 south of Mörön and 714 km from Ulaanbaatar.
The Red Fulani is an African breed of cattle found from Mali across Niger and northern Nigeria to Chad and Cameroon.
The Khillari is a cattle breed. It is a member of the Bos indicus sub-species, native to Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur regions in Maharashtra and Bijapur, Dharwad and Belagavi districts of Karnataka in India. The breed is well adapted to the area's tropical and drought-prone conditions. They are favoured by the local farming community due to their ability to handle the hardships of farming. The breed is in decline, mostly due low milk yield, which offers an alternate income stream to a farmer.
The Florida Cracker or Florida Scrub is an American breed of cattle. It originated in Spanish Florida and later in the American state of Florida, and is named for the Florida cracker culture in which it was kept. It is one of the Criollo breeds that descend from the Spanish cattle originally brought to the Americas by the Spanish Conquistadors; among the other North American breeds in this group are the Pineywoods, the Corriente and Texas Longhorn. Unlike the Pineywoods – to which it is closely related – the Florida Cracker has not been inter-bred with breeds of North European origin.
The American Breed is an American bovid hybrid of cattle with a small percentage of American Bison blood. It was developed in the 1950s by a New Mexico rancher looking for beef cattle which could survive on poor fodder in the arid Southwest.
The Latvian Brown is a cattle breed that began to be formed when Angeln cattle were imported into Latvia to improve the local, low-productive cattle.

Mewati, also known as Kosi, is an indigenous breed of cattle in India. They are named after Mewat region. They are known to be related to Gyr and Haryanvi cattle breeds. The cattle are almost universally white in colour with the rare occurrence of brown shades. It is considered to be a dual purpose breed with good milking and draft prowess. The bulls are known for their strength and endurance, and are employed for agricultural and carting purposes.
