Monique de Bruin (born 8 July 1965) is a retired Dutch road and track cyclist who was active between 1986 and 1993. On track, she won a bronze medal in the points race at the 1988 World Championships, whereas on the road her team was second at the 1991 UCI Road World Championships in the team time trial. [1]

As a teenager de Bruin did skating, swimming, judo and gymnastics before turning to cycling at age 15. She took part in five Tour de France Féminin races and five road world championships. After retiring from competitions she worked as a secretary. She has two children. [2]

Van Dijk is known as a time trial specialist and is five times world champion. She won her first world title on the track in the scratch race in 2008. She became Road World Champion in 2012, 2013 and 2016 with her respective trade teams in the team time trial and in 2013 also in the individual time trial. In 2015, she won the time trial at the first European Games and the silver medal in the team time trial at the world championships.

Garmin–Cervélo was an elite professional women's cycling team registered in Great Britain and racing on the UCI Women's Road World Cup circuit. The UCF Knights track and field program represents the University of Central Florida in the sport of women's track and field. The Knights compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Big 12 Conference. The program includes intercollegiate indoor and outdoor women's track and field teams. UCF is one of the few schools that has a women's track and field team but no men's team. The Knights host their home outdoor meets at UCF Soccer and Track Stadium, located on the university's main campus in Orlando, Florida. Although they compete in indoor track and field they do not have an on campus indoor track facility. The Knights track team is currently led by head coach Olympic gold-medalist Jeanette Bolden.

In her active days there weren't any international cyclo-cross championships yet. She won silver in the individual pursuit, at the 1989 World Juniors Track Cycling Championships in Moscow. At that tournament she became friends with Servais Knaven, with whom she married and got four cycling daughters: Britt, Senne, Mirre and Fee. They all ride for AG Insurance-NXTG, the development team of which Den Ouden is the owner, co-founder and team manager.
