Mor Moharan is a Pakistani television series that premiered on TV One on 10 May 2022, directed and Owais Khan and written by Ali Moeen. It stars Sonya Hussyn and Zahid Ahmed in lead roles with Mustafa Changazi, Samiya Mumtaz, Adnan Jaffar, Babar Ali and Firdous Jamal in supporting roles. Rohi, a graduatee of environmental science comes to her ancestral land after getting higher education from Punjab University, Lahore. On reaching her hometown, she observes that the women of her area have to travel long distances for fetching water as there is a dearth of the water in the Cholistan. She then decides to help them in her own way and tells about it to her father who is a respectable and well-known man of the region. She uses her education and her father's position to solve this problem.
The project was first announced by Hussyn through her Instagram account on 9 March 2021. [4] Initially, Mikaal Zulfiqar was selected as a male lead but later he was replaced by Ahmed. Principal photography began on 4 February 2021 in Cholistan/ Rohi, Bahawalpur. [5]
Mor Moharan is the third collaboration of Hussyn with Ahmed after Ishq Zahe Naseeb (2019) and Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida (2020) [6] while it also marked her second collaboration with director Owais Khan after Marasim (2014).[ citation needed ]
The initial teasers were released on 28 October 2021. [7] It was slated to air in December 2021, however its release got postponed and later premiere in May 2022. [8]
Samiya Mumtaz, is a Pakistani film and television actress. She has performed in several TV dramas.

Zahid Iftikhar Ahmed is a Pakistani television actor and former RJ. Ahmed worked as a creative manager for PTV World, and later became an RJ. Although successful, he left it to pursue a career in acting, and made his broadway debut with a leading role in the play It Runs in the Family (2006). He received widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Anwar Maqsood's, Sawa 14 August and its sequel Pawnay 14 August. Aangan is a Pakistani period drama series based on the award-winning novel of the same name by Khadija Mastoor and originally broadcast on Hum TV. Apart from the initial few episodes, the story set in British India, is narrated by Aaliya who is an ambitious girl and witnesses the stories of relations affected at the time of partition of the Indian Subcontinent, presenting the trials and tribulations as her own family was divided.

Sang-e-Mah is a Pakistani television series, and second series in the trilogy preceded by Sang-e-Mar Mar. Having central plot line inspired from William Shakespeare's Hamlet, it is written by Mustafa Afridi, directed by Saife Hassan and produced by Momina Duraid under her banner production MD Productions. The series revolves around the mysteries that unfold when a young man Hilmand decides to avenge the murder of his father. It focuses on the oppression of women in the form of 'ghag' in tribal areas and also deals with interreligious harmony. It features an ensemble cast of Nauman Ijaz, Atif Aslam, Sania Saeed, Samiya Mumtaz and Omair Rana with Kubra Khan, Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz and Hania Aamir in supporting roles. This marks the television acting debut of Aslam who played the main role of Hilmand Khan, and sung the soundtrack of the series as well.
