The Northeast Conference (NEC) is a collegiate athletic conference whose schools are members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Teams in the NEC compete in Division I for all sports except football, which competes in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), formerly Division I-AA. Participating schools are located principally in the Northeastern United States.
Robert Morris University Illinois, formerly Robert Morris College, was a private university with its main campus in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1965 but its oldest ancestor was the Moser School founded in 1913. It changed its name to Robert Morris University Illinois in 2009. In 2020, it merged into Roosevelt University, which formed under it a new Robert Morris Experimental College as one of several colleges at Roosevelt. Robert Morris offered associate and bachelor's degrees and was regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
Allstate Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Rosemont, Illinois, United States. It is located near the intersection of Mannheim Road and Interstate 90, adjacent to the city limits of Chicago and O'Hare International Airport. The facility opened in 1980 as the Rosemont Horizon and seats 17,500 for basketball and 16,692 for ice hockey.
Kinnick Stadium, formerly known as Iowa Stadium, is a stadium located in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. It is the home stadium of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, in the sport of college football. First opened in 1929 to replace Iowa Field, it currently holds up to 69,250 people, making it the 7th largest stadium in the Big Ten, and one of the 20 largest university owned stadiums in the nation. It is named for Nile Kinnick, the 1939 Heisman Trophy winner and the only Heisman winner in university history, who died in service during World War II. It was named Iowa Stadium until 1972, when longtime lobbying by Cedar Rapids Gazette sportswriter Gus Schrader successfully convinced the UI athletic board to change the name. It is currently the only college football stadium named after a Heisman Trophy winner.
Roberts Municipal Stadium was a multi-purpose arena in Evansville, Indiana, for sports, public events, and concerts. The arena was built in 1956. It seated up to 12,732 spectators and featured four locker rooms and a press room. On June 13, 1972, it hosted a concert by Elvis Presley. He then again played Roberts, for the second and last time on Oct. 24, 1976, breaking all existing attendance records, by drawing a crowd of 13,500.
University Field was a 10,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Albany, New York. It was home to the University at Albany Great Danes football team from its opening in 1970 until 2012. The stadium was demolished after the football team's final game; after a major renovation to upgrade the site's track & field facilities, the site reopened in the fall of 2013 as the home for Albany's men's and women's teams in that sport.
UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, originally known as A. J. Palumbo Center, is a 4,406-seat multi-purpose arena in the Uptown area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania served by exits on both Interstate 376 and Interstate 579. The arena opened in 1988, and is part of Duquesne University. It is home to the Duquesne Dukes basketball, volleyball and wrestling programs. The center hosts concerts, boxing, and other special events, and is capable of converting the seating arrangement into a sport, stage, or theatre setup. The facility was named in honor of its benefactor, Antonio J. Palumbo, who was elected to the Duquesne University board of directors and, in 1987, received an honorary doctorate of Business and Administration from Duquesne. Performance Magazine, a concert trade magazine, has consistently ranked the Palumbo Center as one of the top 10 grossing arenas of its size since its opening in 1988.
Charles L. Sewall Center, commonly referred to as the Sewall Center, and nicknamed "The Chuck" was a 3,056-seat multi-purpose arena in the Pittsburgh suburb of Moon Township, Pennsylvania. It was home to the Robert Morris Colonials men's and women's basketball teams as well as the women's volleyball team from 1985 until 2017. The Northeast Conference men's basketball tournament was held there four times. The inaugural game was held on November 30, 1985, when Robert Morris lost to Duquesne 80-65. The building, named for the university's president from 1967 to 1989, replaced the John Jay Center in 1985.
Robin Roberts Stadium at Lanphier Park is a stadium in Springfield, Illinois. It is primarily used for baseball. It originally opened in 1928 as Reservoir Stadium and was renovated in 1977. It holds 5,200 people. The stadium was renamed after Robin Roberts (1926–2010), a Hall-of-Fame pitcher and a graduate of Lanphier High School who was Springfield's most accomplished ballplayer, in 1976.
Joe Walton Stadium is a 3,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. It is home to the Robert Morris University Colonials football team and men's and women's lacrosse team. The facility opened in 2005 and is named for Colonials head football coach Joe Walton. The inaugural football game was played on September 17, 2005 when Robert Morris defeated Butler 49–13. The team formerly played its home games at Moon Area High School's Moon Stadium. The inaugural men's lacrosse game was played on March 5, 2005 when Robert Morris lost to Drexel 9–4. The inaugural women's lacrosse game was played on March 24, 2005 when Robert Morris lost to Wagner 16–3.
Engelmann Stadium is a Division I soccer venue on the campus of the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. It is home to the Milwaukee Panthers men's and women's soccer teams, both of which compete in the Horizon League of the NCAA's Division I. Engelmann Stadium was home to the longest-running in-season tournament in NCAA Division I men's soccer, the Panther Invitational. The 40th edition of the tournament was held in 2014, and for the first time was split between Engelmann Stadium and Valley Fields on the campus of Marquette University. However, the tournament has not been held since.
The Western Illinois Leathernecks are the teams and athletes that represent Western Illinois University, located in Macomb, Illinois, in NCAA Division I sports. The school's primary conference affiliation is with the Summit League; its football team is a member of the Division I FCS Missouri Valley Football Conference.
Halas Hall is a building complex in Lake Forest, Illinois, that serves as the Chicago Bears' headquarters. Named after George Halas and designed by Peter Rose of Peter Rose + Partners, the building hosts the team's front office, as well as indoor and outdoor practice facilities. The franchise spent $20 million to build the complex in 1997. The location is 4 miles (6.4 km) west of the original Halas Hall, which is now used by the Lake Forest College Athletics Department.
The Southern Illinois Salukis are the varsity athletic teams representing Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The nickname comes from the Saluki, the Royal Dog of Egypt and the Persian greyhound, which ties into the fact that southern Illinois has had the nickname "Little Egypt" for just under 200 years.
Old College Field is an area on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. The school broke ground in 1900 to provide a place for the varsity baseball team to play. Today, the area includes facilities for baseball, soccer, and softball. It is located on a floodplain on the inside of a bend in the Red Cedar River. The "New Life for Old College Field" campaign, which began in 2006, was to enhance the sports programs which played on the Field.

Valley Fields is a 1,600 seat outdoor stadium and practice facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, primarily used by the varsity men's and women's soccer and lacrosse teams at Marquette University, all of which compete in the Big East Conference. The complex houses bleachers, locker rooms, practice fields and a main stadium.
The 2017 Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Tournament was the 28th edition of the competition. The tournament was played from November 8 until November 11.
