Maciej Żółtowski - alternative spelling: Zoltowski is a Polish conductor and composer. Maciej Żółtowski studied violin at the F. Chopin and J. Elsner Music Schools in Warsaw. Having earned his diploma in violin performance with distinction, he continued his studies at the F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, where he graduated in 1996 in composition and in 1997 in conducting faculty, obtaining both M.A. diplomas with awards. His teachers at the academy included Prof. Marian Borkowski and Prof. Ryszard Dudek.

Acoustic Accordions is a 2010 album by Michael Nyman and Motion Trio featuring Nigel Barr. It contains covers of popular Michael Nyman tracks from Letters, Riddles and Writs, Drowning by Numbers, Prospero's Books, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Draughtsman's Contract, and The Piano, as well as an original track by Janusz Wojtarowicz, leader of Motion Trio, who also arranged the works for accordion.

The Symphony in B minor "Polonia", Op. 24, was written by Ignacy Jan Paderewski between 1903 and 1908, and first publicly performed in 1909. Although he lived for another 32 years, the symphony was virtually Paderewski's last composition; he wrote only one more work before his death in 1941 - a hymn for male chorus in 1917. Around 1910, he commenced what would become a political career, culminating in becoming the first Prime Minister of independent Poland and signing the Treaty of Versailles on behalf of his nation in 1919. He later returned to the concert platform as a virtuoso pianist.

The Kraków Philharmonic Orchestra or the Symphony Orchestra of the Karol Szymanowski Philharmonic is a professional symphony orchestra based in Kraków, Poland. The national status of the orchestra is reflected in its program of events, including weekly symphonic concerts in the Wawel Royal Castle, or at the Jagiellonian University famous Collegium Novum, and at prominent Kraków churches. The company is more active professionally than any other philharmonic orchestra in the country.

Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra National youth orchestra of Poland

The Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra is the national youth orchestra of Poland. It was established in 2007 on the initiative of Jerzy Semkow by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. It is composed of young musicians under 30 years of age.
