Mounds View Public Schools (District 621) is a Minnesota school district serving the cities of Arden Hills, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, Roseville, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights and portions of Spring Lake Park and White Bear Township. The district currently operates 13 schools and a handful of other educational programs.

The District is consistently ranked among the top 10 metro school districts. On average, District students perform 1–3 grade levels higher than their peers in the state of Minnesota. The district enrolls more than 80% of the students in its attendance area. [1]

High schools

Irondale High School and Mounds View High School were both named among the best high schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report (top 15 in the state of Minnesota) for exceeding expectations when it comes to student performance on reading and math test, and for preparing students for college. [2]

Located in New Brighton, MN, Irondale High School was founded in 1967, and serves over 1700 students. It was featured as "One of the top high schools in the country" by Newsweek.
Located in Arden Hills, MN. Mounds View High School has been an active school in District 621 since 1955, and serves over 1800 students.

Located in North Oaks, Chippewa serves over 1100 students.

Located in Mounds View, MN, the Area Learning Center is a non-traditional program designed to help students meet their high school graduation requirements.
Located in Mounds View, MN, Bridges provides rigorous academic instruction, while also focusing on meeting students' behavioral and social skills needs.
Career and Life Transition Program is a community-based initiative between the Mounds View and Roseville Public School Districts. The CLT program is for students who are 18–21 years of age, have transition needs identified in their Individual Education Plan (IEP), and have not received a high school diploma.
Three locations: Early Childhood Education Center in New Brighton; Pike Lake Education Center (see below); Snail Lake Education Center (see below); This program serves families and their children prenatal through kindergarten entry.
Located in Roseville MN, REACH Academy offers a special education program for students in grades 8-11 from Mounds View Public Schools and several surrounding districts.
Located in New Brighton, PLEC used to be Pike Lake Elementary School. Features Pike Lake Kindergarten Center, which feeds Bel Air Elementary, Pinewood Elementary, Sunnyside Elementary, and Valentine Hills Elementary along with part of the Early Childhood Education Program.
Located in Shoreview, SLEC used to be Snail Lake Elementary which closed in 2005 after celebrating about 100 years as a school. Features Snail Lake Kindergarten Center, which feeds Island Lake Elementary and Turtle Lake Elementary along with part of the Early Childhood Education Program.

Laurentian Environmental Center

5th and 7th grade students in the school district are given the opportunity annually to attend a four-day camp at Laurentian Environmental Center, during which they learn about the wilderness and outdoor survival. Mounds View High School Orchestra students have a chance to go attend around Halloween. [3]

Interstate 694 (I-694) is an east–west auxiliary Interstate Highway located in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area in the US state of Minnesota. The western terminus of the route is at its junction with I-94, I-494, and US Highway 52 (US 52) in Maple Grove. The eastern terminus of I-694 is at its junction with I-94 and I-494 at the Woodbury–Oakdale city line. I-694 comprises the northern and northeastern portions of a beltway around the Twin Cities, with I-494 forming the remainder of the beltway. The speed limit is 60 mph (97 km/h). Interstate Highways outside of the loop in Minnesota may be signed as high as 70 mph (110 km/h) but can only reach 60 mph (97 km/h) inside the loop.

Mounds View High School is a public high school located in Arden Hills, Minnesota, United States. A part of the Mounds View Public Schools district, the high school is located in a suburban area approximately nine miles north of downtown Minneapolis and Saint Paul and includes seven cities with 76,193 residents. As of 2014–15 the school had an enrollment of 1735, with a student/teacher ratio of 21.81. The school's enrollment by race/ethnicity breaks down as follows: Asian 13.2%; Black 3.6%; Hispanic 2.6%; White 79.2%; Other 1.4%. It includes grades 9–12 and was founded in 1955. Irondale High School is a public high school in New Brighton, Minnesota, United States. Part of the Mounds View Public Schools district, the school is in a suburban area ten miles north of downtown Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Irondale made headlines in late 2011 when it introduced its Early College program, which began in the 2012–13 school year. The program, run in conjunction with Anoka-Ramsey Community College, allows students to graduate in four years with both a high school diploma and an associate's degree. This program prompted a visit from US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, who praised Minnesota's efforts to further education.

Ramsey County Library is a library system that operates in suburban Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. The system has seven branches. The library started in the 1920s when the extension division of the Saint Paul Public Library provided books for various public schools in the county outside of Saint Paul. It was officially established by the county in 1951. The library system is governed by a seven-member Library Board appointed by Ramsey County Board of Commissioners. The "Friends of the Ramsey County Library" was formed in 1979 as a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the libraries. It is a member of the Metropolitan Library Service Agency, a consortium of eight Twin Cities library systems. Today more than 600,000 items are available in the Ramsey County Library collection, growing from 43,000 items in 1954. More than 1.6 million people visit the seven RCPL libraries annually. The Roseville branch is a green library.

Pamela A. Wolf is a Minnesota politician and a former member of the Minnesota Senate who represented District 51, which includes portions of Anoka, Hennepin and Ramsey counties in the northern Twin Cities metropolitan area. A Republican, she is a teacher and a golf instructor.

Parkview Center School is a public K-8 School located in Roseville, Minnesota. Parkview Center School is the only district-wide, kindergarten through eighth grade school in Roseville Area Schools District 623. Families living in the district, as well as in surrounding communities, choose to enroll their children at Parkview where innovation, high achievement and global education." are at the heart of the school. This K-8 public school was established in 1989. The building is also home to the school district's Early Childhood Family Education Center, which serves children from birth to five years old.

Jason Isaacson is a Minnesota politician and member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he was elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2016, after serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives for four years. He represents District 42 in the central Twin Cities metropolitan area, including Arden Hills, Gem Lake, Little Canada, Mounds View, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights, and parts of Roseville, Spring Lake Park, and Blaine.
