The Mount Bold Football Club was a shortly-lived Australian rules football club that was established in 1962 as a merger between the Kangarilla Football Club and the Clarendon Football Club, initially playing in the Hills Central Football Association. [1]

In 1964, Mount Bold transferred to the Southern Football League. In the 1964 and 1965 seasons, Mount Bold failed to qualify for finals and disbanded at the end of the 1965 season with Kangarilla reforming. [2] Clarendon never re-established. [1]

Mount Bold Reservoir Dam in South Australia

Mount Bold Reservoir is the largest reservoir in South Australia with a maximum capacity of over forty-six thousand megalitres. Costing A$1.1 million, the reservoir took six years to construct on the Onkaparinga River system between 1932 and 1938. The reservoir does not connect directly to the main reticulation system; rather, to maintain levels at Clarendon Weir, water is released only as required. Much of the water from Mount Bold will eventually end up at Happy Valley Reservoir and used to supply parts of the Mount Lofty Ranges and also Adelaide.

Kangarilla is a small rural town and locality around 33 km (21 mi) from Adelaide city centre, in South Australia. The area, formerly inhabited by Kaurna people, was settled by Europeans in 1840, not long after the British colonisation of South Australia. Today it lies within the City of Onkaparinga local government area, and has postcode 5157. At the 2016 census, Kangarilla had a population of 896.

David Kantilla was an Australian rules footballer who is recognised as the first Indigenous Australian to play in the South Australian National Football League and the first Tiwi Islander to successfully play in a southern football league. Throughout his footballing career he was known by his 'Anglo' name David Kantilla but also had his tribal name of Amparralamtua.

The O’Sullivan Beach Football Club was an Australian rules football club originally formed in 1977, initially just as an U/13 team in the Southern Football League, gradually building up their teams over the following years. In 1981 they fielded their first senior team, in the Southern Football League Division 2 Reserves competition, and in the following season entered the Division 2 A-Grade competition.

Adopting the moniker of "Mountain Devils", Mount Lofty initially joined the South Australian Football Association (SAFA) competition in the 1979 season and participated in that league until the end of the 1985 season. In 1986, Mount Lofty joined the Hills Football League and currently continue to field teams in both Senior and Junior grades in that competition.

Uraidla Districts Football Club

The Uraidla Districts Football Club is an Australian rules football club based in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide which was formed in 1997 as a merger between the former Uraidla Football Club and Eastern Rangers Football Club. The combined club joined the Hills Football League Central Division and currently continue to field teams in both Senior and Junior grades in Division 1 of that league.

The Sedan Cambrai Football Club is an Australian rules football club based in the Murraylands region of South Australia which was initially formed in 1922 as Cambrai Sedan, a merger between the Sedan Football Club and the Cambrai Football Club.

The Onkaparinga Valley Football Club, nicknamed the Bulldogs, is an Australian rules football club that serves the South Australian towns of Balhannah, Woodside and Oakbank. The Bulldogs currently compete in Division 1 of the Hills Football League and play their home games in Balhannah.
