Mourine Osoru (born 3 November 1989) is a Ugandan accountant and legislator who as of February 2022 serves as the elected woman representative for Arua City in Uganda's eleventh parliament. [1] [2] [3] She held the same position in Uganda's tenth parliament [4] Politically, she is affiliated to the affiliated to the National Resistance Movement under whose ticket she contested in the 2016 general election, achieving victory over Christine Bako Abia. [5] [6]
Osoru was born in Arua on 3 November 1989 to Sabua Ajio and Loyce Adiru. [6] Osoru has a degree in Accounting and Finance obtained from the University of East London in 2014. Prior to that she attended Kisubi High School for her O Levels (2004–2008) and Forest Hill College, Mukono for her A Levels (2009–2010). Some sources list her as having attended primary school at St. Jude Nursery and Primary School [4] while others show Kirinya Parents Primary School. [6] [4]
Prior to becoming a legislator in 2016, Osoru was an accountant in 2010 then Assistant Supervisor at Ajio Sabua Enterprises ( 2014–2015). [4]
In Uganda's 10th Parliament, she is a member of the Committees on Human rights as well as Gender, Labour and Social Development. [4]
In 2017, Osoru was elected President of the Forum of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU). [7] [8] [9] [10]

Sarah Babirye Kityo is a Ugandan Politician and the former elected Youth Representative for Central Region in Uganda's 10th Parliament. She is a member of the National Resistance Movement on whose ticket she ran on in the 2016 Ugandan general election defeating Arthur Katongole, an independent candidate. The forum was established to work for social protection, using advocacy, influence, oversight and monitoring, and representation.

Annie Logiel was a female Ugandan politician, a trained nurse, founder of Karamoja Traditional Healers Association, and district woman representative of Moroto in the 10th Parliament of Uganda under the National Resistance Movement political party. She was elected in 2016 and passed on in 2017. She died at the age of 48 at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen in Denmark where she was taken for an operation to remove a tumour on her brain. It was reported by her family that she went through the brain tumour operation but later developed complications leading to her death.
