Alban Uzoma Nwapa, better known by his stage name Dr. Alban, is a Nigerian-Swedish recording artist and producer with his own record label, Dr. Records. His music can best be described as Eurodance/hip-hop reggae in a dancehall style. He has sold an estimated 16 million records worldwide and is most famous for his worldwide 1992 hit "It's My Life", from the album One Love.
"Let the Beat Control Your Body" is a 1994 song recorded by Belgian/Dutch Eurodance band 2 Unlimited. It is the fifth and final single taken from their second album, No Limits (1993). The album version was largely instrumental and contained just a few spoken words from Ray and Anita. The single version, however, contained full verses rapped by Ray, and a new chorus sung by Anita. It scored chart success in many European countries, peaking at number two in the Netherlands, and within the Top 10 in Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain and the UK. And it was also nominated for Best Song on MTV Awards.
"The Real Thing" is a 1994 song recorded by Belgian/Dutch Eurodance band 2 Unlimited, released as the first single from their third album, Real Things (1994). It scored chart success in many European countries, topping the charts in Finland and the Netherlands while peaking at number two in Denmark, Sweden, Belgium and Switzerland. "Maximum Overdrive" is a song recorded by Belgian/Dutch Eurodance band 2 Unlimited, released in November 1993 as the fourth single from their second album, No Limits! (1993). The UK release was the first UK single to maintain all the rap lyrics from Ray used in the European release, however the acapella intro was removed from the radio edit. It reached number 15 on the UK Singles Chart, and was also a number-one hit in Finland and on the European Dance Radio Chart by Music & Media.
"Impossible" is a song recorded by the German musician known under the pseudonym of Captain Hollywood Project. It was released in October 1993 as the fourth single from his debut album, Love Is Not Sex (1993), and features vocals by singer Kim Sanders. It was a notable hit in several countries, but like "All I Want", it achieved moderate success in comparison with the two previous Captain Hollywood Project's singles. A music video was also produced, but it did not feature Sanders.

And within the top 5 in Austria, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Switzerland. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Life" reached the top spot. Another CD maxi were produced at the end of that year containing new remixes. By March 1994, "Life" had sold 1.5 million copies worldwide.

The song became a hit in many European countries, managing to reach to the top 5 in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland and Switzerland. It was released in February 1994 as the first single from his third studio album, Look Who's Talking (1994), and reached number-one in Denmark and Finland. The song became a top 10 in almost all other European countries, except France and the UK. It entered the Eurochart Hot 100 on 12 March 1994 at number 61 and went on to peak at the second position four weeks later. In the US, it peaked at number 11 at Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart. And in Zimbabwe, the single peaked at number 10. A CD maxi containing four remixes was also released, particularly devoted to the dance floors.
"Away from Home" is a song recorded by the Sweden-based musician and producer Dr Alban. It was released in May 1994 as the second single from his third studio album, Look Who's Talking. In comparison with the previous Dr Alban's singles, the song met a smaller success. But it made it to number two in Finland, number five in Spain, number 12 in Austria, number 13 in Denmark and number 17 in Switzerland. In the UK, "Away from Home" peaked at number 42 and on the Eurochart Hot 100, it reached number 25 on 20 August.

"No Coke" is a song recorded by Sweden-based musician and producer Dr Alban. It was originally released as the B-side of the 12" version of his debut single "Hello Afrika" and became the second single off his debut album, Hello Afrika (1990). Released in November 1990, the song was a hit in several European countries and reached number-one in Sweden. To date, it is one of Dr Alban's most successful songs, along with "It's My Life" and "Sing Hallelujah". It was produced by Denniz Pop, who recorded the song's signature bassline using a Roland Juno-106 synthesizer. The song is performed in English and the lyrics describe a tragic event outside Alban's nightclub Alphabet Street in Stockholm. In November 2017, it was the topic at SVT:s Hitlåtens historia.
"Hello Afrika" is a 1990 song recorded by Sweden-based musician and producer Dr Alban. It was released as the debut single from his first album with the same name (1990). It features Swedish Eurodance singer Leila K. The song is similar as Eddy Grant's "Hello Africa", but in style of hip hop. It peaked at number one in Austria and achieved a great success in most of the other European countries, including Sweden, Germany and Switzerland.
"Coco Jamboo" is a song by German Eurodance group Mr. President. It was released on 29 March 1996 as the lead single from their second studio album, We See the Same Sun (1996). The song was a hit in many European countries, reaching number one in Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Sweden, and Switzerland. The song got its inspiration from "Der Kommissar" by Austrian singer Falco and "Da Da Da" by German band Trio, both released in the early 1980s. It was co-produced by Claudio Zennaro and Fulvio Zafret, and achieved great success in many European countries. "Eins, Zwei, Polizei" reached number-one in Austria, Germany and Italy. It has been remixed and re-released several times. In 1995, it was remixed by DJ XTC of Chile. In 2000, it was re-released in a remix by Maurizio Ferrara, in 2008 with remixes by German DJ Blutonium Boy and Floorfilla, and in 2019 the song was reworked by Dutch-Turkish DJ Ummet Ozcan.
