Breakfast is the debut album by Mr Floppy. It was released on 16 December 1991 and contains the tracks from their previous EP Firm and Fruity alongside three versions of a previously unreleased track, "Breakfast" (a parody of the Australian Crawl song "Reckless").

Gratuitous is the second album by the band. It was released in 1992, and features a re-recording of "100 000 Morrisseys" in a rap rock-style, and a cover of the Yugoslavian beer drinking song, "The Tree in the Wood".

Track 8 is a sample from a porn film, with the stereo channels in inverse directions. Track 16 is an instrumental version of Wuthering Heights with no guitars, bass or drums. Track 20 is a minute of silence followed by someone saying "Floppy Floop". "Boring Fart" has the mantra Om mani padme hum chanted throughout. The lyrics to "Sunflowers" are taken from various letters written by Vincent van Gogh in the final years of his life.

"100 000 Morrisseys" is the debut single by Mr Floppy. It was written by Tim Aylward and Paul Johnson. It was recorded and released in 1989 on the Zombie Penis Death label and was later reissued in 1990 on Waterfront. The single was produced by Keith Baxter and got negative reviews but was played on John Peel's radio show. It uses a sample of the beginning of "This Charming Man" and samples other Smiths songs throughout the track. The B-side is a 2-minute instrumental (except for the chorus). In 1992, it was released on the album Gratuitous in a re-recorded version in which the vocals were rapped.

Firm and Fruity is the first extended play by Mr Floppy. It was released in 1990 and contains 6 tracks, despite 8 tracks being listed on the cover.
The track "Noonan" went on to be a fan favourite. Its chorus resembles that of "Cool for Cats" by the UK Squeeze.

"Up the Duff" samples a line from National Lampoon's European Vacation . "Stir Fry Baby" features an extended outro with duelling wah-wah solos from Aylward and Carroll. "God Loves You" samples the spoken intro ("I still believe in God, but God no longer believes in me") from The Mission's song "Wasteland".
Live versions of tracks 1 and 5 were included in the hidden track section of the album The Unbearable Lightness of Being a Dickhead. The entire EP was included on the album Breakfast. In 1991, a test pressing was made for a planned "Homebrew" single. It was never released to the public, however.

Poontang* were a band formed in 1994 by Paul Johnson (ex-Mr Floppy), Jonathan Rayson-Hill, Michael Betinsky and Hamish Cheyne. They never got as popular as Mr Floppy and in fact only played 23 concerts before disbanding in late 1999.
Musically, the group were a continuation of the hard rock cultivated by Johnson during Mr Floppy's twilight years.

"Wuthering Heights" is a song by English singer Kate Bush, released as her debut single on 20 January 1978 through EMI Records. Inspired by the 1847 Emily Brontë novel of the same name, the song was released as the lead single from Bush's debut studio album, The Kick Inside (1978). It peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart for four weeks, making Bush the first female artist to achieve a number-one single with an entirely self-penned song. "It's Goin' Down" is a song by American turntablists the X-Ecutioners. It features two members of American rock band Linkin Park, rapper Mike Shinoda and turntablist Joe Hahn. It is often mistaken for a Linkin Park track due to their involvement. It was released as the only single from The X-Ecutioners' second studio album Built from Scratch, which was originally released on February 26, 2002. The single was released in March 2002 in CD and vinyl format.
"For the Love of Money" is a soul, funk song that was written and composed by Kenneth Gamble, Leon Huff, and Anthony Jackson; it was recorded by Philadelphia soul group The O'Jays for the album Ship Ahoy. Produced by Gamble and Huff for Philadelphia International Records, "For the Love of Money" was issued as a single in late 1973, with "People Keep Tellin' Me" as its B-side. The single peaked at number three on the U.S. Billboard R&B chart, and at No. 9 on Billboard's Pop Singles chart in spring 1974. Though the album version of the song was over seven minutes long, it received substantial radio airplay. The song's title comes from a well-known Bible verse, 1 Timothy 6:10: "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." The song was also used as the opening theme song for NBC’s The Apprentice.

The Dykeenies are a Scottish indie rock band from Cumbernauld, formed in 2005. The group consists of brothers Brian Henderson and Andrew Henderson, along with Steven Ramsay and John Kerr. Since their formation, they have released one studio album, Nothing Means Everything, accompanied by three singles. After a worldwide tour, the band began work on their second album, which was released in October 2011. They broke up in January 2012, before re-forming for two performances in 2017. The Dykeenies released their EP 'I Wanted To Show Her All The Beautiful Things in the World' on 11 May 2018. The title of the 2018 EP was taken from Bret Ellis-Easton's 'American Psycho'.
"Juicy Fruit" is a song written by James Mtume and released as the lead-off single from Mtume's third album, also titled Juicy Fruit. It features lead vocals by Tawatha Agee. The mid-tempo song is Mtume's most well-known, proving enormously successful on R&B radio stations when first released.
Wovoka is the fifth album by the American rock band Redbone. It was recorded between June and October 1973, and released in November 1973 on Epic Records. The album was produced by brothers Pat Vegas and Lolly Vegas, in addition to sound engineer Alex Kazanegras. It was the last Redbone album to feature Peter DePoe on drums. Wovoka was recorded with the help of multiple session musicians, including several additional backing vocalists. All main members of the band notably contributed to vocals. As with the band's other releases, Wovoka features songs with Native American themes; each of the band members at the time had either Native American or Mexican American heritage.
"Wang Dang Sweet Poontang" is a hard rock song written and performed by Ted Nugent. It was first released in 1977 on the Epic album Cat Scratch Fever and as the B-side of the Epic single, Cat Scratch Fever. The song was produced by Lew Futterman and Cliff Davies. An extended live version of the song was released in 1978 on the Double Live Gonzo! album. The song has also been covered by various artists, including a 2020 cover by heavy metal supergroup BPMD.
Neuromance is the debut studio album by Italian industrial rock band Dope Stars Inc. and is also the first project by the band released under the Trisol Music Group label. Lyrically it focuses on traditional cyberpunk beliefs and themes, the album title itself a play on the Cyberpunk classic Neuromancer. Unlike their previous EP, 10,000 Watts of Artificial Pleasures, which was published by Victor Love, Neuromance was produced by Thomas Rainer and John Fryer. The album was released on August 22, 2005, as a Digipak to coincide with the release of the digital download.
"Diddy Wah Diddy" is a song written by Willie Dixon and Ellas McDaniel, known as Bo Diddley, and recorded by the latter in 1956. The song shares only its title with Blind Blake's song "Diddie Wah Diddie" recorded in 1929. Over the years, the Bo Diddley song has been covered by many bands and artists, including the Astronauts, Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band, the Remains, the Twilights, Taj Mahal, the Sonics, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Ty Segall Band, and the Blues Band among others.

Mr Floppy were an Australian alternative rock, punk rock and oi! band formed in 1989 by Tim Aylward on guitar, Mick Kuarol on guitar, Paul Johnson on bass guitar and vocals and Joseph Kennedy on drums. They issued three studio albums on Zombie Penis Death Records, which were distributed by Waterfront Records, Breakfast (1991), Gratuitous (1992) and The Unbearable Lightness of Being a Dickhead (1993). They enjoyed a cult following; however, the band broke up in 1994. They were compared to TISM throughout their career, with some people actually claiming Mr Floppy were a TISM side project, although the band members hated such comparisons.
"The Queen Is Dead" is a 1986 song by English alternative rock band the Smiths, appearing on their third studio album of the same name. Written by Morrissey and Johnny Marr, the song features anti-monarchist lyrics that attracted controversy in the UK music press. Musically, the song was a result of experimentation and jamming, with Marr and rhythm section Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce using technology in the studio to enhance their performances.
"The Four Horsemen" is the hit single and most famous song on the concept album 666 by the psychedelic rock band Aphrodite's Child. It has received regular airplay on AOR stations since its release in 1972. Like its album, the song is based on The Book of Revelation.
