Mud Pond is a small lake northwest of Roscoe in Delaware County, New York. It drains south via an unnamed creek which flows into Russell Brook.

The Oswegatchie River is a 137-mile-long (220 km) river in northern New York that flows from the Adirondack Mountains north to the Saint Lawrence River. The Oswegatchie River begins at Partlow Lake in Hamilton County, New York. The river continues through Cranberry Lake which was 'doubled in size' through construction of a dam in the late 1860s. The river continues from the dam to Gouverneur, to near Talcville in St. Lawrence County, where it joins the West Branch. Much of it is within Adirondack State Park. The city of Ogdensburg developed at the mouth of the river at its confluence with the St. Lawrence.
Grafton Lakes State Park is a 2,545-acre (10.30 km2) state park located in Rensselaer County, New York, United States. The park is in the central part of the Town of Grafton and north of the hamlet of Grafton on NY Route 2, northeast of Albany. The park contains the Shaver Pond Nature Center.

Allagash Lake is in the North Maine Woods on the boundary of Maine range 14 townships 7 and 8. Allagash Stream flows into the northwest corner of the lake from Allagash Pond, Crescent Pond, and Mud Pond in township 9 range 15. Allagash Stream overflows the northeast corner of the lake and flows 5 miles (8.0 km) through Little Round Pond into Chamberlain Lake. Chamberlain Lake originally overflowed through Eagle Lake and Churchill Lake to the Allagash River; but was diverted through Telos Cut to the Penobscot River in the 1850s. Allagash Lake provides good habitat for togue and squaretail.
Dyken Pond is a 134-acre (54 ha) lake in the towns of Grafton and Berlin in Rensselaer County, New York. The pond gets water primarily from precipitation and outflows westward into the Poesten Kill, a tributary of the Hudson River. It is located in northwest Berlin, south of Grafton Lakes State Park.
Robert V. Riddell State Park is a 2,163-acre (8.75 km2) state park in Otsego and Delaware counties, New York. The park is located approximately 20 miles (32 km) from Cooperstown.
The West Branch Oswegatchie River is a river in Herkimer, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties in New York. It starts at the outlet of Hog Pond and flows into the Oswegatchie River near the hamlet of Talcville. The West Branch Oswegatchie River is slower-moving than the Middle Branch, which flows into it. But the still waters such as Long Pond, Round Pond, Rock Pond, Mud Pond and Long Level are separated by hard-to-traverse rapids and/or waterfalls.
Clear Lake is located northeast of Stillwater, New York. The outflow creek flows into Witchhopple Lake. Fish species present in the lake are brown bullhead, and brook trout. Access via trail off Red Horse Trail and Salmon Lake Trail on the south shore. No motors are allowed on Clear Lake.

Ball Pond is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of New Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It is in the southwest part of the town, with the pond of the same name in the central part of the CDP. The community is bordered to the south by Taylor Corners and to the west by Putnam Lake in Putnam County, New York.
