Muhammad Nasirudeen Maiturare (born 16 June 1963) is a Nigerian academic, a professor of business administration. He is the fourth substantive Vice-Chancellor of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai in Nigeria. [1]
Muhammad Nasirudeen Maiturare was born in Paiko, a small town in Paikoro Local Government Area, of Niger State, in Nigeria. He grew up there and went to Bida Government College for his Secondary School Education where he had his Secondary school leaving certificate. In 1980. In 1982 he later did (IJMB) at the School of Basic Studies and proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. For his BSc Actuarial Science in 1985 and M.B.A. in 1989, and 2001 he bagged his PhD in Business Administration in same institution. [2] In pursuit of knowledge he went to Federal University of Technology, Minna to be trained as a Computer Analyst.
He begins his career at Ministry of Finance, Akure, Onto between 1985 and 1986. He has worked as a lecturer at Federal Polytechnic, Bida, from 1986 to 1987. He also work in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1987. he has taught several courses at undergraduate, Masters, and PhD levels. In 2010 he became a Professor of Business Administration, ABU, Zaria, during his Sabbatical leave, between January and December 2013 he worked with the National Pension Commission. [3]
Maiturare is married and with children.
Jerry Gana, is a Nigerian scholar, politician and one time senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1983 then Director for the Directorate of Food, Roads and Infrastructure (DFRRI).He was the director of the Mass Mobilization for Social Justice and Economic Recovery, popularly known as MAMSER under Ibrahim Babangida, then Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources, in the Interim National Government under Ernest Shonekan. Later he became Minister of Information and Culture under General Sani Abacha, then Minister of Corporation and Integration in Africa under Olusegun Obasanjo as well as being Minister of Information and national Orientation. He also served as Political Adviser to Olusegun Obasanjo, before announcing plans to run for president in June 2006.

Isa Marte Hussaini is a Nigerian professor of pharmacology and fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Science, inducted into the academy in 2013. He specialized in cancer research and is currently exploring the use of local herbs for cancer therapy. His report to the Nigerian Academy of Science on the use of local herbs for Cancer therapy suggested that herbal plants are more efficacious than the current drugs used in cancer treatments. In May 2015, he presented a paper entitled: “The mining of Nigerian medicinal plants for cancer therapy” in Abuja at the induction of Fellows of the Nigeria Academy of Science where he stated the predictions of the International Agency for Research on Cancer that annual global new cases of cancers are expected to rise from 11 million to 16 million by 2020, with 70 per cent of them coming from developing countries.
Ibrahim Garba is a Nigerian geologist and university administrator. He was the former vice chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria he was succeeded by Kabir Bala. He had also served as the vice chancellor of the Kano State University of Science and Technology, Wudil. Garba hails from Riruwai in Kano State.
Ekundayo Adeyinka Adeyemi was a Nigerian architect and academic who was a distinguished professor of architecture at Covenant University, Ota. In 1975, Adeyemi attained professorship at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria a promotion that made him the first professor of architecture in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. He was acting vice chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Akure from December 1999 to September 2001.
