The Muhammad Shahi are a Baloch tribe of Balochistan. They are from the Sarawan branch of the Baloch and reside in the Kalat region as well as Quetta and Helmand. The tribe is further divided into subsections, Khidrari, Hajizai, Samakzai, Samezai, Bimkazi, Dodai, Jicko, Dozanzai and Soorozai.

He also became minister of state for defence in the cabinet of Feroz Khan Noon. Earlier, he had also served as the Minister of State for Interior.

Jampur is the capital city of Jampur District, in Punjab province of Pakistan. It comprises an area of about 16.7 square kilometers and has a population of about 87,858 (2017) It is the capital of Jampur Tehsil. Talpur is a Baloch tribe. The tribe later formed the Talpur Dynasty. The tribe is mainly settled in Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan in Pakistan. The Talpur dynasty ruled between 1783 and 1843, while a branch of the dynasty ruled until 1955 as the Khairpur princely state.

The Marri are a Balochi-speaking tribe of the Baloch people, who inhabit a large arid region in northeastern Balochistan, Pakistan. The Marri area is bounded to the west by the plains of Sibi. To the north are the Kakar and Loni tribes of the Pashtuns; to the east lie the lands of the Khetrans, to the south the Bugti tribe.

Bhurgari is a Baloch tribe which lives in various provinces of Pakistan.

The Langove is a Sulemani-speaking Baloch tribe in Pakistani Balochistan, though other communities can be found in Punjab and Sindh. Most Langove speak the Sulemani dialect of the Balochi language, although some who live in proximity to Brahui tribes speak Brahui language. Three salient sub-tribal Langove identity-groups are the Meeranzai, Halizai and Shadizai.

Chakar Khan Rind (1468–1565) was a Baloch chieftain who founded the Second Baloch Confederacy (1487–1512). He also aided Mughal Emperor Humayun in his reconquest of the Subcontinent. He is considered a folk hero of the Baloch people and an important figure in the Baloch epic Hani and Sheh Mureed.
