Muhammad Zia-Ur-Rahman, ndc, psc, is a retired two-star-rank major general of Bangladesh Army. He was the pioneer and first General Officer Commanding of ARTDOC. [1] [2] [ failed verification ] He served there from 27 January 2008 to 4 June 2009.

The Bangladesh Army is the land warfare branch and the largest component of the Bangladesh Armed Forces.
