Muhammad Zubair (born 12 October 1988) [1] is a Pakistani field hockey player who plays for the Pakistan national team as a forward.
In November, Zubair was part of the gold medal winning team at the Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. [1]
Zubayr is an Arabic masculine name and a surname from the root Z-B-R, meaning 'strong' or 'brave'.

In certain books and other publications, besides on some websites, his name has been shown as Addul Rashid or Muhammad Abdul Rashid which is incorrect. He played in 1964 Summer Olympics and 1966 Asian Games. Pakistan won silver medal at both these events.

Muhammad Anis Ahmed is a field hockey player and former member of the Pakistan National Hockey Team. He played for Pakistan's national team in the 2000 Summer Olympics and the 1998 Asian Games, where the team won bronze medals. He played 87 matches for Pakistan and scored 24 goals in his career.
Men's field hockey at the 2006 Commonwealth Games took place between 17 March and 25 March. The competition consisted of a round robin stage of two groups of five with the winners and runners-up of each group qualifying for the semifinals.
