Mundial is a Brazilian manufacturing company. Mundial produces beauty care implements, such as scissors, files and tweezers; apparel fasteners, for example buttons, rivets and eyelets. Mundial is the result of the merger of Eberle S.A., founded in 1896, and Zivi-Hercules, another Brazilian company, founded in Porto Alegre in 1931. [2]

Eberle began by producing tin oil lamps in Caxias do Sul, an industrial city located in the southernmost state of Brazil. Over time the company expanded into the manufacturing of horse riding gear, tableware, cutlery, motors and fasteners, and by 1974 was producing beauty implements and fashion apparel fasteners. [3] After its 2003 merger with Zivi, the group was renamed Mundial S.A. [3]

It is a publicly traded company, with shares trading daily at the São Paulo Stock Exchange (BM&F Bovespa). [4]

São Paulo Metro

The São Paulo Metro, commonly called the Metrô is one of the urban railways that serves the city of São Paulo, alongside the São Paulo Metropolitan Trains Company (CPTM), forming the largest metropolitan rail transport network of Latin America. The six lines in the metro system operate on 101.1 kilometres (62.8 mi) of route, serving 89 stations. The metro system carries about 5,300,000 passengers a day.

B3 (stock exchange)

The B3 S.A.- Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão, formerly BM&FBOVESPA, is a stock exchange located in São Paulo, Brazil, and the second oldest of the country. At the end of 2011 it had a market capitalization of R$2.37 trillion, making it the 13th largest stock exchange in the world. However, owing to the slump in economic growth in Brazil associated with political problems, in addition to the strengthening of the United States dollar against the Brazilian real, the capitalization shrank to R$2.21 trillion by the end of 2015. On May 8, 2008, the São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa) and the Brazilian Mercantile and Futures Exchange (BM&F) merged, creating BM&FBOVESPA. Then at March 30, 2017, BM&FBOVESPA merged with CETIP, creating B3.

It provides water to 26.7 million customers, or 60% of the population of the state. It is the largest water and waste management company in Latin América. It provides basic sanitation services, which include all phases and the collection, treatment and reuse of sewage. The São Paulo Metropolitan Region and the Regional Systems accounted for 74.5% and 25.5% of the sales and services rendered during the year ended December 31, 2004 respectively. Águas de São Pedro Municipality in Southeast, Brazil

Águas de São Pedro is a Brazilian municipality in the state of São Paulo located 184 kilometres from the state capital. At only 3.61 square kilometres, it is the second-smallest Brazilian municipality in terms of area, and had an estimated population of 3,521 as of 2020. Águas de São Pedro means "Waters of Saint Peter". Its name is derived from the mineral springs in its territory and their location, which before the city's founding were part of the municipality of São Pedro.

Line 17 (São Paulo Metro)

Line 17 (Gold) is an under construction monorail project for the São Paulo Metro. The line will have 14 stations, beginning at the São Paulo-Morumbi station and ending at the Jabaquara station, with a branch to Congonhas station, connected to the São Paulo/Congonhas Airport. It will have integration with Line 1-Blue, Line 4-Yellow, and Line 5-Lilac as well as CPTM Line 9-Emerald. The line was originally one of the transportation projects supporting the 2014 FIFA World Cup. However delays, and contract disputes have pushed the completion date from the original 2013 full opening date to only the first phase opening in 2021.

Phases of Operation Car Wash

A long series of criminal investigations have occurred in Brazil associated with Operation Car Wash. The first investigation was launched in March 2014, and is now known as phase 1 of the investigation, with subsequent inquiries numbered sequentially and having code names such as phase 2, phase 3, and so on. By September 2020, there were 74 announced phases of Operation Car Wash.

Companhia do Metropolitano de São Paulo (CMSP) is a Brazilian mixed economy company, based in São Paulo, which most of its investments belong to the Government of the State of São Paulo. Founded by the Prefecture of São Paulo on 24 April 1968, the company is responsible for the development, project, construction and operation of the metropolitan transport system in the Greater São Paulo, specially the capital metro. Having most of its share control associated to the state government, it's subordinated to the Secretariat of Metropolitan Transports of the State of São Paulo.
